GivesAWhit
I'm hoping for more science humour and group episodes, a return to clever Shamy, and a continuation of harmonious Lenny and Howardette marriages. Raj, I have given up on (unless they unearth Yvette the Vet!). I really dread a Nebraska trip though. The writers will only use it as yet another opportunity to mock and humiliate Leonard. Time for him to reap the rewards of eleven years as a stalwart friend and supportive, acquiescent friend/lover/husband. #JUSTICE FOR LEONARD!! vonmar
From The Hollywood Reporter CBS Fall Premiere Dates: Special 'Big Bang' to Boost 'Magnum P.I.' The comedy will bow on Monday before quickly returning to Thursday. CBS is staggering its fall premieres, rolling out new episodes over the last week of September and the first week of October. And just because the network no longer has Thursday Night Football, doesn't mean you won't be seeing a little bit of The Big Bang Theory on Mondays. The Big Bang Theory, along with spinoff Young Sheldon, will again open CBS' fall season on Monday, Sept. 24 with a special 8 p.m. airing leading into the series premiere of Magnum P.I. That should do quite a bit to boost awareness for the network's latest remake — and possibly a little something for the following Monday's arrival of the time slot's full time occupants, new comedies The Neighborhood and Happy Together. The rest of that September week is packed with returns and premieres, and both Big Bang and Sheldon will air the second new episodes of their respective seasons that Thursday night. Sept. 27 also marks the much-anticipated return of Murphy Brown, which a CBS press release jokingly noted as having a "new time slot." (It last aired on the network in 1998, so DVRs aren't exactly expecting to see it on Wednesdays again.) Edited July 9, 2018 by vonmar
3ku11
They're rebooting Magnum PI? Oh boy save us. Apparently no original bone exists in Hollywood anymore. I hope for more Science Related plots too. Harminous Leonard and Penny. I wouldent mind a road trip to Nebraska. If they bring in Pennys family again. Or maybe Lenny travel to visit Alfred. It's an epidemic of entertainment mediocrity. There are only one or two American shows I'm looking forward to so far. ☹️ If they go to Nebraska, I'd prefer seeing Leonard introduce some scientific concepts which improve the running of the farm, thus dazzling Penny's family. No baby goats biting Leonard, or getting squirted while milking a cow, etc. And as little of Penny's brother as possible. Preferably no appearance, TBH. I liked Alfred, so a visit to him would be alright.

Maybe it's intentional, considering they're airing another episode on Thursday. The article @vonmar posted says something about a special airing, maybe it's not just about the time. Another reason why CBS will want a new deal, the show has an impact on its network in so many ways.
Zephon75
Well i'm not sure if i'm looking forward to the new season but i'll probably watch no matter how i feel. I hope now the Bernadette's second pregnancy and the Shamy wedding are out the way we'll get a more balanced season. With all couples the girls the guys and even group episodes getting equal measure throughout . If this is the final season i'd like them to pay homage to previous events over the last eleven seasons. I'd also like them to give us a halloween party a thanksgiving party and to finally give Penny a birthday party. Either a Christmas or New Year party and finally a valentine's celebration. Of course the chance of getting all these in one season is unlikely but if it's the final season then i say why not. I'd also like them to give Penny's career some proper attention , not just bringing something up about it then abandoning it . Give her a job that she enjoys and we get to at least seeing her doing it. I would of like Leonard to have some success but that will never happen. Of course as a Lenny i want more focus on them and get some plots where it's just about them too . Have them get a hobbies or something that they can have fun with doing together. However the pessimist in me, believes all of this is just wishful thinking and won't happen. But i hope i'm wrong

3ku11
I think we should get a Halloween episode this season. I agree now the Shamy Story Arch has been pretty much finalized. And other plots. The show should start taking more bold risks with story choices. Just some fun plots I am asking for. Like said a Halloween episode. The guys could have a game night. While the girls drink wine and bitch about their men :D. I would also like too see some focus on Pennys career. Whether she pursues more work in PR. OR whatever. Like too see Leonards career develop too. He's been kinda stagnant for a while in his career. I think he would make a good professor/teacher. As for birthday partys. Like to see them Homaging the Peanut Reaction. And have an whole episode dedicated to Leonards Bday. Man deserves some payoff!
