He simply asked what do you expect the writers to say, if they want to keep getting paid for writing TBBT. There are only two answers, we have more stories to tell, or we don't have more stories to tell (or possibly we don't have any stories to tell right now, but we may think some up, in which case they have more stories to tell). Only by saying the former, do they give the impression there are still stories to tell.

Since the end of the 6th season. I've yet to see those much lauded stories 🤣. Personally I Think they could of wrapped the show up at any point after 6x24. Dragged out alot of the storylines (LP wedding, Shamy Sex). To the point I Think they just ended up tuning out a major subset of the audience. I have accepted the show is well past its prime (S6) a long time ago. And I have come to peace with that. Edited July 31, 2018 by 3ku11

I find it disgusting that Amy is front and centre in the top left picture, pushing Penny, the onlyy true romantic heroine, to one side. KC is the only actress with star quality, yet she's the only one of the cast who doesn't appear in top right. Is this set of pics created by the makers of TBBT? If so it's clear evidence of their malign intentions for the show. Hahaha. Do you think Kaley really cares if she's in the front of some other characters wedding photo. The week they took that picture, she pocketed $900,000 (minus fees and taxes). No one else in that particular photo did.

They also gad to get over that "kiss", For me it would have been great if it ended at 8 seasons or even 7 . In an ideal world that kiss the writers pulled out of their collective butts wouldn't have even existed and Lenny would have had a beautiful wedding. In fact a wedding so beautiful a redo wouldn't have even been needed. A wedding in which the big baby would have behaved himself for once. I know, I know, it's pure fantasy, but a guy can dream, right?

Had they still been like those early seasons, almost everyone would say the show was stagnate and unreal. It's still a unique show. It's still highest rated sitcom, still brings in loads of money for all concerned. That's unique at year 12 for any show. Nobody's saying that the show should have remained the same, but characters should be true to themselves, and while people change and evolve very rarely do they (or their interactions) change to the point where it's difficult to recognize them. In a 30 min weekly show it's even more noticeable because of the small sample size, and the show's focus (or screen time) can certainly alter our perceptions of the created "world". IMO, the show is no longer unique. I think it has become a regular sit-com with a lot of the regular sit-com tropes ( relationship show vs. a geeks vs. the world show), and the fact that it is so highly rated , and brings loads of money (assuming that's accurate) means nothing in regards to my personal enjoyment of the show. Might be validation for some, but not for me.
3ku11
Look I don't the lvl of uniqueness of a show is predicated on how well it does commerially. Its all subjective. Critically the show seen its best days. ITs remarkable for a show to be delevering 15 mill in its 11th season. Particularly in this current climate. But thats seperate from the actual quality of the show. I don't want shows because they make alot of money. I do because of the characters. Its too conventional these days for my tastes. S12 prob last in any case.

"KC is the only actress with star quality, yet she's the only one of the cast who doesn't appear in top right." I'm guessing that at this point TPTB must think they all have star power. Yeah, you can see her shoes and they were looking in her direction. Wasn't that the scene where they gave her a hard time about her short hair? Was it Leonard who said one of her (Penny's) talents was being able to pee into a bottle? Her response: "the size of a nickel." Loved this!!!!
