I also think it’s too dramatic that the show is making a statement about childless couples.

Well to me ‘we can’t have kids’ seems much more dramatic than ‘we don’t want to have kids’. But I’d also prefer the writers to avoid that statement

I've never really got the appeal of the Leonard and Penny couple, just doesn't do it for me (though I do really like the Penny character when she is interacting with her friends especially Amy, always have).

I don’t get the appeal of Shamy. They are just so unrelatable characters to mePicture them reproducing is a scary thought.

Don't know about the shamy babies. Holland was pretty adamant about no more babies.  As for Bernadette, you're right, she should have been a friend and supported Penny.
I guess tptb will have shamy having twins you know sheldon has to be the best

lol true. Just the thought of them "doing it" or knowing that they are is a kind of creepy.

I agree about them being so unreliable. I don't know any couple or never heard f any couple like shamy.

I'm hoping you're wrong. I'm expecting Holland to stand by his statement "That there will be no more babies"! I'm not sure he will, he's been proven to be unreliable in the past!

Don't have nightmares then because it does happen.

I know it happens, as does Chrismo. We just don't picture it, to keep the nightmares away.

I don't either, that's why I said he's proven to be unreliable. But, what can we do?

At some point in the future...adult narrator Sheldon says this. Not necessarily during season 12. It is prob left to the imagination of fans when it happens....But we know it will.  Sheldon and Amy have both been VERY clear and excited about having babies. Whether we the fans see them is another question. And frankly, just having narrator Sheldon speak of his future kids is enough for me. And before you start arguing with me. Because I know you will. I wont debate back. I do wish good things for lenny. I literally to not hate any of the characters in this show.

People who only watch TBBT don’t have Sheldon as a narrator. I can’t and don’t go by what’s happens on YS.

What the heck is a Paige? The only reason I know what a Tam is (originally thought it was a Scottish hat) is due to the sneak peeks.

They do all these reference to YS has it been mentioned he had kids with Amy?

The last thing they need to do is do a crossover between YS and TBBT. Be really annoying if they used the final season of TBBT as a prop to enhance YS. Fine with George showing up. But don't need to see anymore of YS in TBBT no thank you.

I guess we see appeal in different dynamics. I Don't see the appeal in Shamy. I don't get it. But I can relate to the Nerdy Guy desiring the Hot Girl Next door. And see it evolved. Its the most realistic couple on the show. Which is ironical considering how they always emphasize on "What do they even talk about". Wish they would focus on their strengths not their weaknesses.

However I Think they could resalvage this. By revealing Penny went to the Doctors and was told she can't have kids. That would prob make more sense.

I guess my problem is I don't see not having a lot in common as a weakness. From my own experience not having a lot in common made live more interesting

Oh I agree. Lenny appeal to me has always been they come from different walks of life. And they are kinda defying Societal Expectations. Making something riduclous work. Problem is writers harp on about Differences Vicarousley through other characters. I Think last episode. Howard was like "What do you even talk about? And Leonard was like "Come on you knew I wore her down". ITs like ugh. If you actually look at S7. If anything Penny wore Leonard down.

I don't watch TV for relatable/realistic people or relationships.  I have enough of that in real life.

I can understand that but do you watch then for unrelatable/unrealistic people or relationships?

All levels of it, from slightly askew to comically askew.

Not that I know of, but then, I don't pay attention to "YS" stuff!

That would explain all the "tests" and no pregnancies!

I am sure I will be pounded by all the lenny fans on this page.

Most certainly not all!

Liking the same couple on a show sure doesn't mean having all the same opinions.
