I'm not so sure about that. Kal Penn's script has #1213 on it, which I read as episode 13 of season 12.

While it's possible that they could be filming the episodes out of order due to guest star availability, I think Kal's use of "next week" refers to the taping this coming week.

That's how I read it, next week = 01/08. The white page may be the first page inside the script instead of the blue cover. We'll see...

Of course they will go on to the next episode with Shamy not showing any resolution for Lenny.........typical  TBBT  maneuver!

If this is the case, in their defense, I don't think it's a Shamy-Lenny thing. Spreading out arcs is just something they tend to do.

If the information from the taping report is correct it would seem to be difficult not to refer to it in the next episode.

Typically there is more than one storyline in every episode.

Hope you are right  Just with the addition of Kal Penn and Sean Astin think this will be the A plotline.

I was looking at The Jim Parsons Source page and they had a preview of a goodby issue for Entertainment Weekly. I was bummed they only had the top three on the cover. No Amy, No Howardette and no Raj. I think the other four deserved a place on the cover as well.

This cover is the cast picture that Jim and Kaley alluded to on Instagram a while back...

The level of disrespect is unbelievable. I mean, I could understand if they left out Amy and Bernadette since they joined the cast later but Howard and Raj are also part of the original cast.

Well said Sah, I couldn’t agree more.

Not blaming the actors but whoever commissioned or organised it should have showed more respect.  Without the rest of the cast there wouldn’t be an issue covering a Season 12 goodbye, the show would have ended some years ago IMO.

It should have been all of them on the cover, Melissa and Mayim have been there 8 out the 12 seasons.

I agree. If this is indeed the way it is, it is a weird decision. Full cast pictures are always (okay, maybe th vast majority of times, there are probably some rare cases here and there) used when the show is discussed.

Here's the Entertainment Weekly cover

Thanks!

Am I the only one who thinks there's too much make-up/photoshop/both on the guys? 😅

I also read that the three of them will present awards in the Golden Globes (it didn't say together so I suppose it's seperately). In this case it makes more sense, 7 TBBT presenters will be too much, but if I am to speculate for the sake of speculating and reading way too much into things because this is what we do here, could there be an agenda behind this? Trying to make it seem as it is ultimately their show, so, maybe, it makes more sense to stop when one is leaving because it's one of three and not one of seven? I'd say no, I'm just having conspiratory fun here.

No idea what the intention is and who's in charge, but I think it creates unnecessary awkwardness among the cast and crew.

They are and have always been "The Big Three". I am sure that this view is manifests itself in their contracts and also in their remunerations. As simple as that.

From ew.com

(incl video)

The Big Bang Theory stars cover EW and reveal how they want the sitcom to end

The video can also be found on Entertainment Weekly's official YouTube channel:

That is a very cute video

And they're on team #fixtheelevator! haha  I dare say wanting the elevator fixed in the end is probably the closest we'll ever get to an all-fandom wish (closest, because there always will be someone out there who disagrees).

Johnny is so cute crying in the end, seems like a very genuine moment

And when Kaley talks about him when she meant Johnny she felt "intimidated", I'm not sure that's the word that best represents her feelings at the time LOL That little part felt more like "How I fell for Johnny" than "What it was like meeting Johnny".

And I really hope they publish that picture where Kaley leans on Johnny ❤️ My Lenny heart just can't. Also loved that they wrote "Penny HOFSTADTER", I don't know why they just write "Penny" most of the time, the girl took 8 years to get a last name (well, sort-of, ugh), let her have it!

Still weird though that it's just them, I hope the other five will be in another issue or another magazine.
