Shouldn't he be working? Doesn't he have more important things to be doing  at the moment instead of worrying about what Trump is saying or doing?

I don't believe that Bill is directly involved with the production of the show on a daily basis anymore.  He is one of the creators and probably gives input on story lines. But I don't think he is involved 24-7.

Episode is named "The Meteorite Manifestation" .... taping was real fun. IMHO much more professional than Two and a Half Men for an example. Kutcher and Cryer were forcing the Jokes, especially Kutcher, TBBT cast is doing it extremely professional and still having fun

OOH. I wonder if it's feedback from Penny's discovery of a comet last season ?  Or something Bert found ? Will have fun  speculating over breakfast while  I wait.

OK, here what I can remember .... 😀

 

The Meteorite Manifestation

Bret wants to examine piece of rock from the sky and needs help from Raj and Leonard gets jealous because they do not want to use his laser to cut it. Bernadette and Howards new neighbor builds an illegal balcony with perfect view of their hot tub and installs strong floodlight with a movement sensor underneath ….

Here come the spoilers 🙂

 

First scene was pre-taped,  Bernadette and Howard find out their private hot tub is not private anymore

Second scene plays in Leonards lab as here he wants to demonstrate his new laser to Sheldon, Raj and Howard when Bret pops up and asks Raj for help. Leonard offers his laser but is being ignored. Sheldon is interested only in talk about Nobel prize and leaves the room, Raj and Bret leave as well and Howard follows them .. Leonard stays alone with his laser

Third scene plays in some sort of community planning office (new setup only for this episode), where Bernadette and Howard come to fill in their complaint, just to find out how complicated that is …

Fourth scene is a funny one in the comic shop, shot around the corner, so no visual at all, and to be honest I could not see the point of having this scene at all, apart from it being really funny! Leonard catches some cold and Stewart proclaims his comics as warning to humanity and that guys should under no circumstances cut that meteorite.

Fifth and sixth scenes are shot in main apartment. First one with full cast. Sheldon finds out about Bernadette and Howards problem and is delighted to offer his help filling in complaint  forms. Scene ends with great pre-taped hot-roll after Sheldon finds out about Leonards cold (this hot-roll  takes place  in Sheldons and Amys apartment that stayed hidden all the time – director was sitting in there today). Second one was Harald and Penny only, she makes him tea and leaves him sleeping on the couch.

Next scene was pre-taped as well. Sheldon visiting the “crime scene” just to find out hot tub (and bathroom as well) are not built legally either!

Another pre-taped scene shows Leonard stealing meteorite rock from Brets lab.

Next scene was a great one, car scene taped in a green room in front of the elevator, Amy driving  Sheldon to the planning office and trying to convince him not to be a tattler! Jim Parsons pulled  a couple of jokes on her … do not know what they are going to show from that one!

Another pre-taped scene, Leonard having a dream in a dream, about cutting the rock and setting  the pink energy  free that turns him into a monster biting and eating Raj and Bert, then being woken up by Penny biting her as well ….. just to wake up on his own and realize it was all only the dream

Next scene, Sheldon in the planning office having doubts what to do, asking clerk for an advice ….

Second last scene, Berts lab. Leonard obviously brought the rock back (they didn’t show that) and comes to apologize as they try to cut it with his special diamond saw named “Terry Bretsaw”

Last scene, same location as the first one, Bernadette and Howard sitting down and observing their neighbor tearing down his balcony …. He apologizes for the noise and asks them if they know who Sheldon Cooper is?  …. Credits appear on the screens!!!

Was not too long but it was huge fun!!! I probably missed a lot but my memory is not as good as Tensors either, but in short lines that was it! Nice episode!

To be fair that was not really Two and a half men. And TBBT have still got the full cast in tact.

It sounds like a light fun episode. I do think though that it is ridiculous that 2 episodes later we still don't know Leonard's answer to Zack and Marissa for sure. With this giant mess they've made I don't think it is wise to wait until to very last episodes.

I so agree, less than a dozen episodes left and they are writing a meaningless one like ‘‘tis tells me that they have already checked out.  I can’t believe they left off the Lenny donation plot like they did, it just goes to show what smokin in the writers room over 11 years can do to ones mind.

Anyway, thanks @kenan for the taping report, that was very nice of you to take the time and let us know about this episode.

Soooo very true. The writers have a tendency to procrastinate a bit. This season there's not a lot of time to procrastinate!

Or Zac and Marisa actors aren’t available this week. I don’t know. Clutching at straws I think. Makes no sense in a narrative to drop a bombshell and then ignore it like the characters wouldn’t even acknowledge the decision has or hasn’t been made in a conversation. I know the writers like to not plan too far ahead as they say but Assymetry Nobel plot is getting plenty of continuation. Grr!

They can have 4 consecutive episode (or 3 consecutive and one after one episode break, I don't remember exactly) about Super Asymmetry and mention the Nobel nomination in this one, but they can't take a second to have it mentioned or clearly implied that Leonard said yes or is still thinking about it (or said no but I doubt it, we would've seen that in the end of the episode itself). Unbelievable. Or believable by the low standards set by the writers as far as Lenny stories go.
