Bernadette doesn't enunciate clearly.

Glad to know that. I was wondering whether the problem with what B said was my hearing or my TV.

😅 (personally I don't get what's so great about blond hair anyway 🤷‍♀️)

Nothing, unless it's Penny's. KC can even act with her hair.

You can say the same thing about Sheldon

Yes, but the article we are discussing was not about Sheldon. When someone puts up an article about Sheldon I will comment on it.

I completely disagree with the article and think the writer is full of shit. Some of the examples she presents are true, but the way in which she presents them reeks of negative bias, not to mention that she cherry picked only the examples which would prove her point.

Each character’s fans will side with them even in the face of damning evidence - its human nature to do so, which is so evident in today’s political climate ( both sides; not trying to open that can of worms). I’ve criticised and supported all of them over the years depending on how the plot device has portrayed them. My own forum signature points out that I have a bit of all the boys in me, mostly the endearing stuff but also some of the negative, albeit not as amplified as a sitcom requires, so as someone who identifies with their traits ( I also have a Penny, Bernie and Amy in my family as well), I’ll recognise the good and the bad.

A subset of Lennies and Shamy go too hard at supporting and attacking their ship and the opposition, doing the cherry picking of supportive evidence and ignoring the damning variety that I mentioned. Yes Leonard can be excused too much by some but I disagree he is the only one getting the altar boy treatment, especially in the last couple of years, a few newer ‘not fans of Leonard’ have arrived to provide an alternative point of view, which is fine. It is my view that none of these characters are as bad or good as some forum members make out and when an article provides a one sided portrayal just using the negative ( or positive ) examples, I’ll point that out, regardless of who the character is.

But Leonard has done some pretty heinous things, some referenced in the article and several more not.

Probably Penny,  even though he's cheated on every established girlfriend he's had, prostituted himself to a rich old woman, and broken the "bro code" with two of his three best friends. Also, he barely wants kids, so he's not being oppressed there either.

I don't really care what character is your favorite we're both entitled to our opinions and to me this is what makes this site so interesting. I've read a lot of things I never would have thought about and the more read the more I enjoy it

I'm just stating the obvious that Sheldon is worse.

I love Leonard but really don’t find it neccssary to defend him.  Sure he has his faults, but for me he doesn’t have the yuch factor that the other male characters do  - but that comment is not based on a Talley sheet analysis, just personal appeal.

I believe the "Yuck Facter" was more about the character's actions than looks! Sheldon is a handsome man, but as for his actions as a man, he's a yuck!

Possibly Penny's last upgrade, and it comes off as mooching off Bernadette

However bringing her acting back in now with sudden recognition for her would be even more fairytale than any of the Nobel stuff

Don't put anything past them : they've got nine weeks yet.

So we’re doing The Final Countdown right now? However, there are concerns to be considered.

H: All right. Here we go. L-minus ten, nine..
S: Wait, what are you doing? It's T-minus.

Here is an article about Howard being the worst character...

Creepy as he was at one time, I still find him one of my favorites of the show.

In the earlier years, he was creepier than a two dollar bill. Bernadette straigthened him out. Although, the creepiness still escapes from time to time!
