Actual.

That was already pointed out earlier.

Good. Now you have it again

He was kidding. however a website recently did write a story about that. Can't remember which. But the fact that they are the only castmembers on the cover does say a lot.

Should be the entire cast. Not just some. They are all equally important to the success of the show.

That's up to the people paying for the shoot! Personally, I think they got the right people for the TV Guide cover!

I see no problem with Just Johnny and Kaley on the cover. Let’s be honest their dynamic was the premise. The whole series is predicated on their relationship. I actually wouldent of minded a Shelnard cover. Or Leonard/Sheldon/Penny. They are the big 3 end of the day. In any respect, I love the cover. Feels very serine and fateful. Feels like Leonard and Penny are driving off into the sunset starting their new life’s. I too wonder if that we’ll be the tag in the finalie.

It was all of the characters and the chemistry they all had together that acually made the show successful. Sheldon and Penny chemistry, you had to have. Raj and Howard must have. Even the chemistry between Leonard and Sheldon was spot on.

Because none of the other characters matter to you. I feel that all the characters were vital to the shows success. I feel bad for Simon, Kunal,, Jim, Mayim and Melissa.

For me it is like a Friend's cover with only two of the cast members.

There's a lot we don't know. The others may have been busy or declined doing the shoot. I'm happy with the cover.

As I said in another post. There's a lot we don't know. they could have been asked and declined or were too busy! You don't know me. Just because I don't like Sheldon don't mean I dislike Jim. I think the entire cast are wonderful actors. Do me a favor don't assume.

Don't you think it would have looked funny with the whole cast in that small car

I don’t agree with this at all.  Just because there are multiple cast members does not mean they all need to be invited to every opportunity.

I Think it makes sense if you look at the premise. The theme they were going for was Lenny driving off into the sunset without Sheldon. I Don't think this was about acknowledging the worth of the show as a collective. They had the whole cast on Ellen. I Think the audience knows how important the whole cast is.

Iagree. There were Magazine Covers with just Jennifer Aniston and David  Schwimmer during the run of Friends that didn't include the other cast

A final goodbye cover? Big difference.

The important part was not having Sheldon.

You don't think Jim/Sheldon contributed to the sucess of the show or should be on a goodbye cover? Gosh, some of my favorite memories were between Sheldon and Penny. They had a wonderful chemistry that people were noticing from season one. I think he is a huge part of the sucess of the show. One of my favorites is Gothowitz. Such great chemistry between the two characters.

Never said that, my comment was directed at the end of the show and the importance to me of not having Sheldon with them as they drive off.

Magazines are free to have whoever they want on their covers or who they want to do photoshoots with.

If I was working for a magazine around that industry and had the creative license and control and budget to make it all happen I am looking to secure a deal to get ALL of them on the cover.

As a fan of the show (yeah I still consider I am one despite how I feel about it at the moment) I would only buy a magazine, poster or other form of media involving ALL of them.

Why? Because it’s a final goodbye from the whole cast and I do know how much each cast member has contributed to a show that has given me a lot of good moments and all-round escapism particularly during periods of darkness in my own life.

I have met a lot of good people in the fandom and in large part that’s because of such a talented cast, all of them that gave me so much enjoyment from the work that they did that I really wanted to talk about it with others.

The likely reason for the May 16th finale is that they want Young Sheldon's season to finish on May 9th first

So now one week in April or May will be empty

The writers are very much writing things like the only episode of the season viewers will see is the May 16th episode, and they are probably right...

Sitcoms operate on the idea that watchers have the memory of a goldfish

I think it should have been a cast picture as well. God knows, they hadn't had a good one in a long time. The ones on the dvds were pitiful. They need to make it up to us as much as they can now. Or at least the big three. Not everyone thinks the series is predicated on Lenny. I would lean more toward Shelnard if that was the issue.

This is what Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady sold to CBS.  The core relationships came later.

YES! If they had put it out there as a relationship show I would never have watched it.

Visions of Galaxy Quest just went through my mind. I'll have to pull that out and watch it again.

It would have been nice if they had the whole cast on the cover.

I do remember Jim Parsons has been on the TV Guide cover at least once before and Leonard and Penny developed the first major relationship in the show so maybe that's why they were chosen.

And I'm sure Sheldon is fine not being included on Leonard and Penny's 'trip'. He's content with Amy

Spoilers**

The episode that was taped last night is called The Inspiration Deprivation.

The guys that accidentally proved super asymetry have gone on a public campaign to get their names associated with the idea so they get the credit (cue in Ellen show bit)

The University has their own reception for academics to meet with Shamy on their work and the two guys crash the party and Sheldon holds his tongue at Leonard's pleading which results in Amy being the one to freak out in public.

Shamy agrees to do a sensory deprivation tank experience to try to calm down from possibly having the Nobel prize scooped from them. It helps Sheldon but sends Amy into a tizzy as the pressure to win as a female is high (only 4 nobel prize winners have been women). -her freak out and inability to keep her emotions in check *could* be another hint to a pregnancy!?

In other news, Howard buys a scooter (midlife crisis?) Which he then has to sell. To me it was a cute bit and a snapshot into Howard and Bernadette's home life.

There's a bit more but there you go. I had so much fun!!
