Interesting to think it affects TV schedules in the US. It doesn't here, but Good Friday might. We don't have a holiday on the Thursday but I think they do in France. Hi, I;m Sania, haven't posted here in years. Got swamped by a lot of academic stuff in college, heard that it's the show's last season and started lurking around here to find episode discussions and stuff. Not to be pedantic, but they weren't dead the whole time. Everything that happened on the Island happened in the show. The last season showed a flash side-ways, purgatory-type deal, where the characters would meet up together after they died (they all died at different times), because the time they spent on the island together was the most important parts of their lives. Man, why do people always get the Lost ending so wrong????? Also, that was a beautiful last episode and I cried like a goddamn baby when everyone started regaining their memories. Also, dude, you should watch the show, it's very good.

So foot-washing and Passover aka Last Supper meals at Church are on Passover Eve then, not Passover. One learns something every day. Incidentally, when The Queen hands out purses of Maundy money, the towel carried behind her is symbolic. That's been traditional since Mary II who had poor eyesight. luminous
(3 pictures) News articles: From eonline.com The Big Bang Theory Makes TV History as Longest-Running Multi-Camera Sitcom Quote The Big Bang Theory is making history in its 12th and final season. The long-running sitcom, which will come to an end on May 16, is earning that "long-running" title this year. With episode 276, the CBS comedy is officially now the longest-running American multi-camera sitcom. Cheers previously held that title with 275 episodes. full article From tvguide.com The Big Bang Theory Just Broke a Major TV Record Quote The Big Bang Theory made TV history on Wednesday as production began on its 276th episode, making it the longest-running multi-camera sitcom ever, breaking Cheers' record of 275, according to studio Warner Bros. The cast, producers, and crew celebrated on the set after the table read with cupcakes to honor the milestone. Episode 276 will air in May as one of the final episodes of the series. full article Edited March 27, 2019 by luminous

I remember when the first season aired in 2007 (2008 for us kiwis). It was around the Writers Strike, and I Guess their was a level of uncertanity about this show. They were just looking for a 2nd season back then. Prob never thought it would go on to be the longest running Multi Camera Sitcom ever. One could argue the first 150 episodes, were mostly gems. And up their as one of the greatest comedy series ever made. The next 120 episodes, were so and so. But still a gigantic feat for this show. Sure to cement its legacy. luminous
This IG posting is from last week. Obviously there's a lot of "filming of the filming". It's probably done for specials (on CBS /DVD & Blu-ray releases of season 12, etc.)

vonmar
From TV Line Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on Big Bang, Grey's, Hawaii Five-0, Gotham, Legends, Walking Dead, Jane the Virgin and More! Question: Do you know if, in the last episode of The Big Bang Theory, that darn (keeping it PG!) elevator will finally be fixed? I imagine the last scene being all the characters getting into it, and it stalls between floors. —Ken Ausiello: I have zero knowledge of what will happen in the May 16 farewell. I’m not even sure if the producers themselves know precisely what will go down (elevator or otherwise), considering that table read is still a month away. What I can tell you is that the episode that tapes this week not only propels Big Bang past Cheers as the longest running multi-cam comedy in TV history, it also marks the return of Sean Astin, Kal Penn, Joshua Malina, and John Ross Bowie (which suggests to me that there may be a major development in Super-Asymmetry power couple Sheldon and Amy’s bid for a Nobel Prize).
