You could certainly say that Amy's big win is Sheldon. Her main activity from her sexual awakening to the wedding was dreaming and scheming to get her grip on Sheldon by any means possible. Early on she was tricking innocent Sheldon into physical intimacy (the flu business) and on the ep before her wedding she was still deceiving him about her pinkeye to make sure he didn't pull out. Marrying Sheldon was the big win from all her working and manoeuvring. That should have been the end of her story. We really, really don't need a big Shamy plot in the last season. It's different for Sheldon. He didn't need Amy until a very unconvincing change of gear late on in their relationship. He was just as happy on his own. They were a very unsymmetrical couple (not going to attempt a pun on you-know-what). On 4/1/2019 at 9:21 PM, joyceraye said: By doing what ? Once married, people can't get more married than they are, can they ? What is progress as a married couple ? Lenny don't have an old house to renovate together, neither of them being of a DIY inclination. They are not keen gardeners. There's no visible evidence of anything like that they can point to to show the progress of something they've started together, are getting on with, and will be useful or beautiful when finished. If they lived in Europe they might take classes in a foreign language together and enjoy using it as they build expertise and take trips abroad. As it is, what could they do that makes them looks as though they progress ? They are both working and interact with colleagues separately but have friends in common. They have things to talk about and go to places together. These suggestions are all external. Marriage is not static. Penny and Leonard's marriage has lots of room to progress. Leonard has a lot of emotional growing to do still. And they need to work together on understanding Penny's feelings, about kids and about their life. They could do this because KC has established Penny as a "real" person with an inner life.
Tensor
A bit of info.. c In case this post disappears, since they rarely post the titles, it's "The Maternal Conclusion".

Tensor
Christine Baranski mentioned she would be on one last time, I'm wondering if this is it. Of course, it could be Laurie Metcalf too. Or both, their final appearance would be their conclusion. I'd say more than a couple different directions.

Laurie is currently doing a play on Broadway called "Hilary and Clinton". Her availability would be tricky. Mondays are her only no performance day of the week. Or, FaceTime or Skype could be pre-taped also.

Even if it by Skype. 50 years ago it would have been much harder. But I guessing at the moment that at least Beverly will be in it. we have to see the mothers one last time! veejay
Dear Alex, I don't think a bathroom will be enough for all the tears for the end of this last season. I think it makes more sense to rent an indoor pool. 😉 (...a comment by @kaleycuoco 😭😭😭😭)

I was thinking Beverly too, many of the episodes with her visiting were called "The Maternal (...)" and they did talk about Baranski making an appearance (IIRC she wasn't sure if the episode she'd be on were the finale so it may be actually 22). I hope it starts with Beverly and her maternal issues and then bam, plot twist, it’s gonna be about Penny and her maternal issues, and the conclusion will be positive 🤪😁 Edited April 3, 2019 by smartandbeautiful
