Ratings last night, preliminary was a 1.9 demo. With 11.93 million.  For the finals, it had a 2.0 demo, with 12.22 million viewers.  This makes it the only scripted series to not fall below a 2 so far this year.  It was also the highest rated series, (1.9 for the season final of This is Us) and most watched for the week (11.63 million for NCIS.). The last entertainment show to stay above 2.0 was The Masked Singer.

This was a drop of three to five tenths from before the NCAA Basketball tournament, and the switch to Daylight Savings Time in the US.  That drop is is about the same as the last five or six years.

Thanks

In Mayim's recap of "The Laureate Accumulation," a poster asked her about the finale in the comments section, and she had this to say:

Our writers are incredible and have been working super hard. While I don't know a lot of specifics, I can definitely say that there is something UNEXPECTED coming in the finale!

In case you missed the link in the episode's thread, here it is: https://groknation.com/culture/big-bang-theory-laureate-accumulation-recap/

Pretty sure Amy is already pregnant with no help from Penny lol...

Well, if you remember, in Season 4 Sheldon already asked to rent Penny's womb to carry Shamy's baby. Who knows maybe they will try it again. You never know with the "incredible" writers!

Maybe the final scene will be Leonard and Penny moving to “Wisteria Lane” with their newborn child and they  buy Bre Van De Camp House as she moved away in present day 2019

TBBT ends with a death forcing Leonard and Penny to move. Creating a new spinoff

Could Leonard, Howie and Raj give him the reward. They are best friends after all. Or at least Leonard...perhaps with a heart filled speech? Love to see that ❤️

After all the crap Sheldon has pulled over the years, he doesn't deserve the gang to be friends with him. Just my humble opinion!

I must ask. Bre Van De Camp? Not sure who this is...

Yet they all like him. They will be best friends for ever I think. I can see them in 20 years still hanging out and having dinner together.

Raj gets onto the project for setting up life on Mars and Anu is invited to go with him to manage the catering and accommodation ?

Given the VIPs we're used to getting, that wouldn't be unexpected would it ? I thought it was him when they were saying they'd got someone really special until it turned out to be William Shatner.

Never seen that. I watched Desperate Midwives, a reality show about a maternity hospital.

I remember it was a huge success when it first came on the air,  but it popularity began to wane after the second season.  It won  few awards (Felicity Huffman though was only actress on the show to get a Emmy) but not many and it made Eva Longoria a household name. It was a unique show in it way and a big part of why it can't be easily syndicated. It was one of those shows that was popular when it first started but not a  show that could be easily watched over and over  mostly because it was a comedy-drama mystery type show with a new mystery every season that was solved by the end.   I think it can be described as a cult hit/following. Along with Lost and Grey's Anatomy It helped ABC out of the 4th place back in 2005

If they show The King of Sweden it would be an actor playing him.  I think most could care less about the King of Sweden and some people don't even know Sweden has a monarchy.

His friend, Leonard convinced the Nobel Laureates to come to the CalTech reception.

yeah, so what does that prove! He asked them to come not support. He did this because it was good for CalTech and his boss! You believe what you want and I'll believe what I want and we're both happy, happy!  :sungum:

One of the main precepts of the show is the friendship between the characters.  You can skew it anyway you want.  But it is canon.  They are all friends and will be for life.

Sheldon addressed The King  through the TV  some years ago when accusing a Nobel prize winner of being a fraud. I think anyone who's watched TBBT long enough would know Norway and Sweden are monarchies.

If you say so, but I do disagree.  :hi:
