They probably would changed the Leonard and PEnny a bit if that happens especially if they want it to alst. I think there enough you could do there. Problem is the writers have put too much focus on Shamy the last couple seasons. I think Howardette spinoff would be interesting but don't know if that would last. Simon and Melissa have great chemistry I agree I think there are certainly more stories to tell with P&L, especially since they have been neglected for the most part the last three years. Some things off the top of my head are: Penny winning a sales award, Leonard being offered a Physics chairmanship or a professorship, Penny going on another sales conference and meeting her old boyfriend Kurt, P&L going to Leonard's 20th high school reunion, P&L going to visit Penny's parents in Nebraska or P&L going to visit Beverly in New Jersey (although I don't know why they would) or his father. These are just some thoughts they could work with.
chucky
In that gif and the episode, Amy sure appeared to overly enjoy the spanking and would like more in the future. I don't know which one Amy enjoyed more, Sheldon spanking her or bathing her. Interesting conundrum!

The show would be so much better without them. It's funny that the same things aren't leveled at Howardette as much as Lenny! To be honest, I tend to overlook or ignore those remarks sense they are useless and not needed. Edited April 11, 2019 by chucky
BigBang15
For anyone hoping for a Shamy spinoff, it (should) will never happen. The whole idea is that Jim Parsons didn't want to do sitcoms any more (for now) and do work on Broadway. IF he came back in a Shamy spinoff, I know I for one would be VERY ANNOYED at that move as it contradicts the reason for ending TBBT.

She had to be sick to get attention.Ugh. I didn't think the spanking was funny. I couldn't laugh at that. She put up with all sorts of put-downs and humiliations until the end of S8. When she grew a spine and put her foot down I admired her. We know of six other men who were interested in her so Sheldon needed to know how lucky he was. That's when I got interested and looked for a group to join and found this one.

Queen Louise
I don't know why but I've started to not like Amy anymore. She is just always fishing for comfort and often controls Sheldon. I wish Sheldon still had his season 1 personality [emoji17]Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

She's learned to be more aware of the realities of the world and how others expect to be treated than Sheldon has. As Leonard pointed out, they forget what she's like when she's next to Sheldon. Joyce, I was referencing the spanking, that Amy seemed to enjoy( there was a gif of that in the post I was answering.) I agree, that if anyone treated me, as Sheldon treats Amy, I’d be gone. Of course, that would apply to Sheldon’s treatment of Leonard too. He should have heeded Sebastian’s warning, and taken his advice.
