As I say, this was only what I noticed on two tapings and generally speaking, they al seemed very friendly with each other during takes.

Would be interested to know what regular attendees noted

The fact these two have a good chemistry with each other can also be seen, eg, in some bloopers (IMO).

Kaley and Johnny are the selected cast members to speak to the audience--Jim was not selected so does not speak...so that has nothing to do with his friendship with Kaley

Last I knew no one by the name of Chucky hangs out with the cast that can relay anything personal about their relationships 

Johnny and Kaley were not SELECTED  to go talk to the audience. They came up with doing that themselves.

But it does indicate they had to have talked about it together.   I haven't seen any indication that Jim and Kaley have gone out as friends, other than having something to do with TBBT, something like the Fallout 4 launch Johnny and Kaley attended,  for example.    Then there was the case of Kaley repeatedly walking into Johnny's dressing room, while he was in the shower, something that occurred after they broke up.

Lol your point is their basis of talking to the audience? Seeing they dated for nearly 3 years. And the various evidence of them spending time together outside the show. Therefore they share a level of intimacy, ill say they are good friends.

Hey, guess what-- They're all really good friends You can all gang up on me and I could hear nonsense from all sides but I'm sticking with what I say Jim and Kaley are good friends There is no way it can be gauged by what you are coming up with and there is nothing you can say to prove that they aren't . There is obvious evidence in what others have posted  with gifs so talk till you're blue--it would just make it that much more entertaining to me.

There are pictures of Jim, Todd, Kaley and Karl out together in NYC.

In an interview for TV Guide for photo shoot in 2010. They were still together then.

Actually, it was after they broke up.  They broke up in 2009.

I don't claim Jim and Kaley aren't good friends, I'm just pointing out that by the evidence, Kaley is closest with Johnny.  I'll let Kaley tell it in her own words.

I think pretty much all the evidence is that Johnny and Kayley are closest to each other.  Jim has said the person he will miss the most is Simon  and that is because of the stuff they talk about all day.   I am sure that Kayley and Jim are good friends, but I really doubt they have much in common.

Also on "The Talk"  show she replied to a game question about Johnny  "Well, we dated so we know each other pretty well. He is one of the closest people I have ever worked with and is one of my closest friends"  We do things together, go in on things together and he has been a big support for me all these years.  Kaley's own words.  Don't think we need to say more.

To me, any actor or actress is a good one if I can believe I'm watching and listening to the character and not someone playing a part. I suppose when it comes to TV, radio or film rather than the stage, a lot of the work is in the editing. Well, that's a good criterion, but I think there's some variation in believability. To me Penny is the character I believe in most, because KC has given her an inner life and she seems like a real person with feelings. Leonard likewise seems to have an inner life. I can't imagine anyone but JP as Sheldon, but S is such an extraordinary character that JP's performance shouldn't be compared with those of actors playing more recognisable types. Anyway, JP is brilliant.

Less is expected of the other actors, IMO. They're all quite believable as their characters, but the supporting characters don't need to have the same depth as the main 3. I don't get a sense of their inner lives. Which is not to say that they're not excellent supporting actors with first-class skills and in some cases brilliant physical comedy; and of course they might have talents not called upon in TBBT. (I never managed to see Florence Foster Jenkins with SH in a leading role).

I believe when Jim, Todd, Kaley & Karl met for dinner in NY they both happened to be there. Think Jim was doing a play and Kaley was attending the "Hamilton" play.  Also, if I may add I think Jim has said he would be moving to NY when TBBT is done. Think I read he has already put his house up for sale

Jim and Todd have owned a condo in NYC for many years.  They've spent most of their summers there, even when Jim wasn't appearing on Broadway.
