I think it's quite likely that Beverly is there to see Sheldon and Amy to congratulate them on their Nobel nomination, given the mutual adoration she and Sheldon share for each other.

I would not see how that fits the title. Why would she only be nice to him to congratulate Shamy? I think it is between Leonard and his mom.

Other than when Raj gatecrashed girls night and that one time Penny was practising her bar tending with the boys way back, the kitchen bench in Penny’s apartment only ever had 2 or 3 around it because it’s smaller. (Other than the Halloween party, group scenes were in the main apartment. They even moved the Penny blossom manufacturing to the big one. )

Considering the main purpose of Lenny is to be waiting at the island for Shamy to barge in looking for help or to stand there overlooking everyone else, Lenny could not survive in the show in any other environment that the main apartment with the big kitchen island ( insert sarcasm sign here )

I think they should have put Lenny in 4B, Shamy in 4A...the bigger set A. Because of Jim's size. B. So Lenny could have the teal couch and C. Since 4A is the main set we could get more Shamy scenes. Then the show could truly revolve around them and have less Lenny. Lenny would be happy as no one would coming over to the small apartment. They could lock themselves in and be thrilled to have no more visits from friends. Bonus no room for his mom who would prefer to stay with Sheldon anyway. Plus, no baby equals no extra room needed. So it would be a win all around. Just my opinion.

I think they should have put Lenny in 4B, Shamy in 4A...the bigger set A. Because of Jim's size. B. So Lenny could have the teal couch and C. Since 4A is the main set we could get more Shamy scenes. That's why lenny are in 4a. The reason the rest of the gang come over is for lenny as it has been shown since day one.. If shamy were in 4A, then the 4A set would be mute, because no one will visit them.

You are so wrong. They are all best friends. To the point of going to birth of children, ER runs, singing to someone in quarantine. Leonard himself admits they are best friends. As the cast in past and present interviews. Penny admits Amy is her best friend as well in the wedding episode where they choose bridesmaid's and groomsmen. I am sure when little Shamy's arrive they will be Godparents as well. For sure special aunt and uncle that are like family.

They are not. IMO you couldn't be more wrong. It may have been more obvious in earlier seasons. Raj and Howard are friends with Sheldon because of Leonard. Many on here choose to ignore the pre Shamy years.

Wrong, its canon that Raj and Howard only went to 4A because of Leonard. I dont think they are all best friends. Best friends dont experiment on friends or put them down at every opportunity. One or two or even three moments of caring doest not make up for the majority of times that Sheldon has been a horrible friend.

Those two quotes are different. I'm not denying their all friends. I just don't agree that all the guys are best friends with one another.

No they dont, you wrong a friend too many times and they will walk. We dont all live in bbt world and if that is what friends are like, then friendships are doomed the world over. All I'm saying on the matter is, with friends like that. (Sheldon) who needs enemies.

Originally Raj and Howard came to 4A because they were Leonard's friends, but that was many years ago. It's quite usual over time to become friends with people introduced by other friends. Sheldon, lousy friend that he can be himself, would count them as 'friends' if asked.

Leonard is the social nucleus of the group. While they are all friends. You saw in S4, how everyone gravitated to hanging out at Rajs, when Leonard was dating Priya. Same as they all hang out at 4A. 

As for Beverly. The episode is called "The Maternal Conclusion". The only other two episodes in the series that had Maternal in its name. Was "The Maternal Congruence". And "The Maternal Capicatance". All Leonard/Bev plots. I don't think Beverly is coming back to get a rise out of Leonard, or the show are using her as a plot device to make Leonard squirm. Past few seasons their relationship had really progressed. She told him he married well.

Last time we saw her, they had a nice conversation. Something about Conclusion, says finite to me. Synopsis seems to suggest Bev is genuinely kind to Leonard, but has an ulterior motive for being their. That does not neccessarily negate her genuine kindness. But she is also their for a bigger reason, then just to see her son. Most likely to congratulate Shamy on the Noble Prize thing. I mean whats more plausible Shamy getting a Noble Prize for bad science, or Shamy getting pregnant? Take your pick.

Well, the show is coming to an end, so closure is needed. But, who gets that closure is a mystery to me. With Leonard's luck, Beverly will get the closure!!!

Both, if given a choice. But if I had to pick. A Nobel. We already know Shamy have kids at some point.

Same could be said Lenny. If they had kids. Amy and Sheldon will be great parents. No matter how smart or gifted. Sheldon loves Amy, and has shown great growth. They will be fine. Esoecially with Mary and MeeMa and Amy. And even Howard.

I'll have to disagree with you on this. Sheldon has always said he has superior genes and he's going to expect a brilliant "spawn" (Sheldons term not mine )
