True, only the writers know about him!

I suppose something could happen to take him back to India, Anu has to decide whether to go with him.

I don't know, he's complained about it being too hot and too many people there. I don'y think Anu wants to go back either except for the wedding!

I wonder what will become of the props from the show. Perhaps Jim Parsons will inherit the couch from apartment 4A.

I think like the Central Perk Cafe set from Friends, 4A will be one part of the interactive WB MUSEUM at the end of the tour. I got to play Joey in a scene from Friends while there in 2017. I can imagine turning up in a few years and sitting in Sheldons spot re-enacting Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock on the couch or standing behind the island with a big coffee mug in my hand.

That sounds amazing! I’d better start saving for my trip.

I meant (no one is sure about Raj) in general, not just in the finale ;)

Yep, that's why I said only the writers know about him. Raj's character, in my opinion, was a waste of 12 years! He could have been just a recurring character like Kripke, Bert or Stuart!

Poor Raj

I think the show badly neglected him. I think Kunal is so funny as Raj. I think there was an abundance of missed opportunities. Especially with Howard. They had the best bromance ever.

I agree. I think he was good with Stuart, too. I think Kunal is a great guy, like him much more than his character but Raj can be very funny at times.

But then again his character was wasted!

I imagine  a few things may be donated to the Smithsonian Institute or the Museum of Broadcast Communication. Some stuff will probably be stored away in a warehouse or garage somewhere either on the Warner lot or off site.  I am sure the cast and crew will be able to take something from the set.

I be surprised if Jim get the couch. they will probably donate that.

The furniture can all be used again. Jim says he wants the striped cushion from his spot and I think they could afford to give him that. I can see Mayim wanting Amy's crocheted throw or the monkey ornament. I think Melissa should get Tammy-Jo and Simon the Stephen Hawking model. The Amy/Penny  portrait can go to the museum with Howard's astronaut photographs.

The writers failed to utilize the humor with him enough!

There are actually two pillows.  In an interview Jim explained that there is a rehearsal pillow which is a flat fabric, which feels smooth when you run your hand over it.  It looks exactly like the real one.

For tape nights there is the original pillow which is a ribbed fabric, it has a bumpy texture.

I think he should get both. He deserves it and it can't be used again elsewhere without being recognised - or perhaps they cold give him the cover.

Is 'pillow' American for cushion, BTW ? If so, what's American for pillow ( the rectangular thing on the bed that goes under your head and children have 'pillow fights' with at sleepovers ) ?

I say cushion for something I sit on, I say pillow for something that supports my head or back.

So when I go to sleep I put my head on a pillow, when I sit on a couch I might put a pillow in the small of my back.  My sofa in my front room has three cushions that I can sit on.

Pillow for the bed, cushion for the chair or sofa. I've heard both for chair or sofa!

I’m sitting on a couch cushion right now with a pillow in the small of my back! “Twins!”

Interesting. We'd only say 'pillow' for something that supports the head or neck. Cushions usually make furniture pretty or support our back. We might sit on a cushion if a chair is uncomfortable or too low. The soft things that are part of the furniture, such as Penny sprayed paint on, we call seat-cushions.

Did you fetch the pillow from your bed or is it what you call a cushion ? Is 'Twins !' American for 'Snap!' which we call in the card game when two cards are the same or when two of us say the same thing ?

Usually you have sofa that has pillows on it on a regular basis.  Some may call them "throw pillows".  Not that you throw them, kids might. They are usually used for decoration and lumbar support.

"Twins" for us usually means..."me too".

So  Americans call a pillow a pillow and a certain type of cushion a pillow. Snap is called twins. That's my most recent lesson in the learning of the American language. I've mostly picked it up from TV and radio over the internet. I know they call braces suspenders and suspenders garters. I don't yet know what they call garters. They call a brace on the teeth braces but a brace on the back a supporter. They call a supporter a fan. They call a lorry a  truck and they call a truck a boxcar. They call a fruit stone a pit and a  pit a pit. They call a cinema a theater and a theatre a theater. They call an estate car a van or minivan and they call a van a van. They call a TV series a season. They call the last episode in a series a season finale and a finale a curtain call and curtains drapes. They call a handbag a purse and a purse a wallet and a wallet a wallet. They call a waistcoat a vest. I don't know what they call a vest. They call trousers pants and pants underwear. I  don't yet know what they call underwear. I know they call blouses and T-shirts shirts and shirts shirts.  I've noticed they call their language English.

On land in England a skivvy is a cleaner - not to be confused with a scrubber. A skiver is someone who doesn't want to work.

We call it a Season in NZ too. We also call Dinner "Tea".

Motion pictures are shown in a theater.  Those of us who work on stage, refer to it theatre.
