Deep down I'm fine with it ending--I really don't want to see the characters (or actors) involved in less than good quality work. An apology? That's not going to happen because I don't think that he feels like he has anything to apologize for. He didn't quit in a huff mid-season leaving everyone hanging. He made a decision based on what he wanted the next stage of his life to be about. He, just like the rest of us are entitled to choose the path our lives take and if we believe that we are choosing a path that is best for ourselves and the ones we love, then we don't owe anyone an apology for the choices we make. Kaley has a new show (not broadcast network though) coming as Johnny will probably also make a couple more guest appearances on the Conners I imagine.
