They were around at the beginning, I can’t see anything but some combo of Kaley, Johnny  and Jim hosting.  I expect to see an overdose of Sheldon clips so he will not be left out.  I expect it to be a lot of clips and a few minutes of dialogue.  I I,imagine it is mostly a way to force TBBT fans to watch the YS finale.  Anyway Jim is still playing Sheldon in YS so he isn’t even really leaving.  I do think Jim is laying low a bit because his situation is a bit awkward.  His actions set in motion the end of the show (I think we can agree on that much).  And yet he (and much of the writing staff) have a very soft transition to another studio with many of the same relationships.

I seen many people on Big bang Theory Facebook Fan  Groups oups everyday complaint or blame Jim for the show ending. I don't recall Ted Danson   being crucified when he decided he didn't want to do Cheers anymore after 11 seasons or Jerry Seinfeld when  he decided  to end the show after 9 seasons.  

I think the only thing that could have been done differently was  how the other cast found out (not at the table read that morning Jim told Producers he didn't want to do the show anymore)  and the release of the announcement.  We all know none of them were willing to do the show without the other.   None of the cast blame anyone . Johnny was also ready too move on

Go check the Lenny thread, the link is there.  I don't put much faith in internet polls (as you can usually vote more than once).  But the numbers were 51% for Lenny, 24% for Shamy, 18% for Howardette, 5% for Denise and Stuart, 2% for Raj and Anu.   The online poll was from the Metro News site, in the UK.

Yes, spread on bread and butter with another slice of bread and butter on top. Very good for maintaining young people's energy. Also means they don't  have to find a way to dispose of the skin.

Yeah, I mean, the Metro is not the worst tabloid out there but still not exactly a reliable result given the parameters. The only conclusion you can draw from this is that readers of the Metro website like Lenny. Congrats!

In all seriousness most people  in the states don't eat like they do on the show. Seems like the gang ate take out every other day for Dinner  or at least inn early seasons anyway before the Guys got married. But being single men at the time what would have been expected. 

 In the States (No specific regions) Breakfast everywhere is 6am to 11am.  But more places  are starting to serve it either  all day or at least part  of the afternoont. Lunch is usually served 11am to 4pm (however technically  Lunch is usually considered to be between 11 and 2 even if places are still serving Lunch after that time)  with Dinner  usually being eaten  between 5 and 7.  But in general everywhere Lunch is Lunch and Dinner is Dinner. Breakfast is Breakfast. 

There is no "Tea" here. Although a lot of Americans do drink Tea (including me), Coffee (which I also drink a lot ofis still more common/popular here then Tea with many people drinking it throughout the day and even at night.  In the South Sweet Tea is extremely popular but it has started to catch on slowly  in the North. .  Regular unsweetened  Ice Tea is very popular in the North more than in the South.

Does it matter who is doing the poll? They won it and that's that. It's not the first time Lenny have been voted a more popular pairing from the show either.

It does matter when you try to draw the nonsense conclusion that this is the reason CBS over in the US does anything with it like select Johnny and Kaley to do a special as someone suggested.

Poll in the UK, Metro newspaper. Result doesn’t surprise me, in terms of comedy that type of relationship is a common staple of British comedy and is well received .

Brits are into characters and story arcs perhaps where they are seen as ‘punching above their weight class’ so to speak.

I can think of a number of British sitcoms that had a similar setup or development and the public got really behind it. Even something further back like Only Fools and Horses had the Del Boy and Raquel story which was mega popular, two very different people from different backgrounds coming together and people wanting to see it happen.

I’m not saying it’s a bad thing at all that they won a poll, the result just doesn’t surprise me.

There are some who will make an argument that you may not be really drinking coffee. The nearest approximation  to what I know as coffee was a Starbucks double shot latte. There are some baristas around who can do a reasonable flat white, long black or cappuccino.  Not sure how common they are. I found one in a lane behind Venice Beach, Cal. 

When I travelled with my dad in Europe in the 70’s, he’d boil a billy in the carpark off the autostrada or autobahn and make tea. Morning tea and afternoon tea.  Old school. Not that he lit a fire. He travelled with a Gaz stove. So, modern.

Part of life on this forum that personal biases shine through in some of the recent discussions. And so it goes!

I would hazard to suggest that Kaley and Johnny are doing the retrospective as they were there together from episode 1 ( unlike Shamy when Mayim had no connection to the first 3 seasons) , they wanted to go with a couple ( the only other couple back then was Raj and Howard[emoji16]) that could bounce off each other , Kaley brings that over the top joy that these kind of puff pieces and Johnny has a chemistry with her, Lenny are generally the observers and connection to most things and people in the actual show so are suited to commenting on everything and everyone that happened over the 12 years and are the voice of the cast and link to the audience at every taping for as long as I remember.

It doesn’t have to be a competition between us and our ships for who gets the gig. Couldn’t care less who does but Kaley and Johnny makes sense. I’m just happy to have a retrospective to walk down memory lane. I enjoyed the Seinfeld one and I’m sure I’ll enjoy this one in which we will see plenty of every one in the highlights reel. KC/JG will probably get as much on screen time in this as they have in the show as Lenny the last few years! [emoji12] Kidding! Ignore that snark[emoji16]
