That's a silly answer. I take that with a pinch of salt. Quality over commercial success : what's he talking about ? Is he saying he no longer has access to creative writers, technicians, directors and actors who can come up with something good ? Or does he mean the gamble would be too expensive ? Would the cast want paying the same as they did in TBBT if they used any of them ? Seems a bit face-slappery back-stabbery after after all that's been said about TBBT.

At least he said something. This pretty much ends the will they won't they arguing at least I thought it was hilarious that most of the suggestions on the link would to use Stuart and Denise and the comic book store.

I think that sounds logic. Stuart's personal history still contains enough material to represent both, the romantic side (incl. Denise) and the professional side (comic-book store/artist) thematically in an adequate implementation (rom-com/sit-com). And it could arouse the curiosity of past viewers of the original series with a higher nerd factor. The old heroes could also delight the fans with cameo appearances. So it's a plausible game. 🙂

Never said it was. But if the whole show was a dream sequence. That erases everything the show did.

Been done before. They hopefully did something really creative. Guess we will see in a few weeks...

I'm guessing Beverly is dying.

I think they wouldn't use that as a joke (as seen in the promo) if she is

I totally agree. I hope they wouldn't go for that kind of black humor.

Must be odd for people who worked there so long.
On rare occasions I drive by a building that I worked in for 18 years.  The labs I used to work in converted to something completely different. Just the shell of the building is the same as it once was.

Nothing stays the same.

Talking about spinoffs. Kaley said she would be open if Chuck came to her

And Chuck said nothing is happening, so there we are. Plus Johnny and his girlfriend are having a baby (it was on his Instagram) so on top of that and his production company I think he'll be too busy for anything else.

Or she's getting married again. Leonard said this week she's become polyamorous. Perhaps she's found she doesn't like that after all. What if her fiancé is younger than Leonard ?

The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco 'Loves' That the Series Finale Doesn't Solve This Penny Mystery — WATCH

(video in the link above)

Quote

The Big Bang Theory‘s May 16 finale will refrain from solving a lingering mystery involving the character of Penny — and portrayer Kaley Cuoco is totally on board with the intentional oversight. We’re referring, of course, to Penny’s elusive maiden name.

Appearing at the CBS sitcom’s wrap party last week, Cuoco told TVLine that she fully supports Big Bang producers’ decision not to reveal the moniker. “I kind of love it,” the actress confessed with a smile. “So many things are revealed in the last few episodes; you get a lot of satisfying moments. But I kind of love that [we’ll never know her last name].”
