Or...Stockholm as in where the Nobel prize is given.

Yup. The title is related to the Nobel plot. Could be to something else as well.

Yes, the Central Perk set is at Stage 48, which is the final destination of the WB lot tour. I've been there 3 times during my trips to Burbank for tapings of TBBT. I can't wait to see what they set-up for The Big Bang Theory!!! [emoji3590] [emoji3590] [emoji3590]

The Friends Set is used for visitor interaction. They choose people to play the role of the main characters and insert you into a scene on the couches in the Cafe. I played Joey when I went. Hope they do the same with BBT. Fans would love it.

Other than obvious Nobel link, maybe Beverly diagnoses Lenny with Stockholm syndrome as they suffer symptoms of post traumatic stress from being held captive on the island by Shamy and they finally escape their kindly captors![emoji1787][emoji23][emoji16]

I like the way you thinking. 🙂

Oh, another outpour of the well-known phrase "it’s popular to hate whats popular".
After all, it seems that it was already recognized in this kindergarten who the true heroine is.

"Penny only starts getting taken seriously when she osmotically absorbs some of the dudes' brainpower, despite the fact that she is by far the most well-adjusted person on show at least 90% of the time. She deserves better than to be made to feel like an idiot because she doesn't really care what a pulsar is."

Naw. Episode titles have been (first part) about the episode, then (second part) a scientific (or in this case medical) term that usually has nothing to do with the episode. Personally, I'd have called the last episode "The Big Crunch Theory". Their universe has expanded and used up all it's energy.

It is my pleasure to announce the two last Big Bang Theory titles

1223: The Change Constant

1224: The Stockholm Syndrome

I must say I was a bit dissapointed with plagiarism twist in last weeks episode. That clearly opens the door for Shamy (or all three of them) getting Nobel .... I'd prefer leaving that open, it is just too kitchy!

"The Big Bang Theory is a really remarkable thing. You might think you like it, but you're wrong. You've just been afflicted with a very particular strain of comedy Stockholm Syndrome, because it's on constantly."

Wow the author of that piece is hella' condescending... There may be some sort of points in some of the stuff s/he's saying but they're taken to a ridiculous extreme and it feels like s/he may have only half-watched a few season 4 episodes. But what irks me the most is the part where s/he insults TBBT fans. First, the generalization is preposterous, such a popular show has various kinds of fans by definition, and this forum is proof of this diversity, but moreover, just because someone likes something you don't doesn't mean you should condescend and insult them. Geesh.

A: Well, you can't criticize something you haven't seen.
S: I’m sorry, are you familiar with the Internet?

Sometimes I feel free to ask why exactly do they have this need to tell people what’s right for them.
If their answer is that they enjoy standing up and shouting: "Hey, look at me -- I'm so smart and hip and superior, simply because I don't like this show!!", then there's no need to explain. I understand such sad, pathetic people all too well.
If they fail to even attempt to answer this rather simple question, I will be forced to conclude that the only explanation I can come up with - that they are just sad, pathetic people - is the correct one.

This is starting to feel like something I could get in trouble over: a question that will remain unsolved literally forever. Truth is, I was hoping that Penny's maiden-surname will indeed be revealed in the last episode, but boy, was I wrong. I guess a revelation like this will have to wait until a Will & Grace-style revival of TBBT airs down the line. Does this mean the finale will be open-ended?

No, it means this is just not a question they will most likely ever answer. Truth to be told: I don't even think they have an answer for that. She's Penny Hofstadter now and that's all you get.

I expect you are correct.

On the other hand I have long hoped for a criminal minds crossover with Dr. Spencer Reid and Garcia showing up. Would have potential for funny stuff.

Interesting fact:  Dr. Spencer Reed and Dr. Sheldon Cooper have the same iq.  187......

Maybe it is someone related to the Nobels who's the special guest, Ausiello said people were surprised to see the guest in flesh

In other interviews the journalists talked about "old friends" showing up; so I was thinking more to a guest star that has already been in the show, like Mark Hamill, or maybe Bob Newhart....

Interesting... That would be  neat  if she did make a cameo.   i was shocked when she suddenly showed up at Sheldon birthday a couple seasons ago.  There had been no mention of  Leslie since Season 3 and then she appears out of nowhere as if they were sttill l coworkers the whole time. .

I’m not understanding the big deal about Penny’s last name. If she’s pregnant or if Lenny are moving are more important IMO.

I don't get it either, why some people are stuck on her maiden name. She's married now so her last name is Hofstadler
