Yay, Season 12 discussion thread is finally up. The first taping is only a month a way, Hard to believe it.  Here hoping for a good season.. 

I hope everyone is having a nice Summer so far. I just got back from a week long Road Trip

It always quieter on here during the Summer.  I am usually not on here very much during June and July. 

There has been some busy days, but today has been pretty much dead.

Continue to be quiet until either Taping Day. OR when new information comes to light. And also most shows around the 12th season. Theirs less interest from a fatigued audience.

None have been announced, but there have been surprise actor appearances in the past.

Kaley is recovering from shoulder surgery and Jim is doing a play in NYC, so they are out, but maybe someone else will show up.

We've had Raj learning, with Sheldon controlling his money, to stand on his own two feet, although according to Leonard he was staying in 4A free of charge.

I'd like somebody to teach him how to be polite to people and less of a jerk, especially to women. The way he behaved to Penny over their discovery was hardly gentlemanly and not very adult, considering he's about 37.

He's not going to be very attractive to Yvette the vet, Ramona, or anyone else if he doesn't learn to change his attitude. Emily S saw enough in him to stay with him for two years and to try coming back for a while despite being dumped and two-timed. So, he must have a spark of appeal somewhere. Now that Penny and Bernie no longer have to turn Amy into someone who relates to human beings, perhaps they could start working on Raj. He did show willing for one episode when he gathered his old girlfriends but it's going to take more than that. Season 12 could be the one in which he meets a woman and restrains himself from picturing her as a future wife and mother before even the first date,and then learns how to treat her with respect and common sense. He'll need teaching somehow. That should be a fun project.

He can imagine whatever he wants but should watch his behavior. I don't think it would be a fun project for whoever tries to help him haha but it is high time for it. Maybe a group effort? Like when they prepared Sheldon for making a speech when he recieved an award.

I think that the writers have given up on Raj's relationship activity. I was convinced that Raj and Stuart would be in a relationship until Denise came along. I haven't completely given up on Raj and Stuart just yet.  😊

Oh, sure he does. He can be as cute as a basket of kittens when he wants to be. He just comes across as too desperate with woman most times. As for Stuart he may do better than Raj now that he has a female assistant, but I always wanted him to be recognized for his art, and I wish that will still happen.

I definitely agree about both Emily and Ramona. Raj can be cute, he just doesn't understand the makings of a good relationship.

The Big Bang Theory stars Kunal Nayyar and Mayim Bialik surprised fans at the show's annual writers' room panel Friday at San Diego Comic-Con, where they fielded questions from celebrity moderator and guest star Jerry O'Connell about filming Sheldon and Amy's wedding, whether there's a "Shamy" baby on the way, why Raj remains a bachelor and more.
