[Spoilers] Season 12 Dark Lenny Thread

Me too , i really don't want to see  a Shamy pregnancy, i mean we already know they'll have children why subject us to them having them on the show.
As of right now based on the little we know, i only want to know what Lenny's secret is and what their final scene is about that JG posted photos of. 

Yeah, likewise, I'm done with the show and laid it to rest a long time ago. All i care about now is the happiness of lenny and they get a wonderful finale. That will make me happy.

Yeah, it's what keeps Lenny alive inside me. I will keep writing Lenny stories after the show and maybe start reading fanfiction again. There are some good lenny ones that I need to make time to read. Including yours truly. [emoji3]

Yup , i hope Lenny fans keep writing fanfictions for them so they live on, and with having no canon to follow we can create our own futures for them.

I might actually get around to finishing my stories when the show is over as i will hopefully be more motivated to continue them.

Wouldn't that be a slap in the face to Lenny fans, if the secret they are trying to keep is all about Shamy. The Big Bang Theory? more like The Big Disappointment Theory.

The finale was the final insult. Penny's pregnancy  should have been the climax of the series. Instead it was crowded out by the preposterous Nobel story, and got less screentime than Amy's haircut. It's incredible that we never got to see Penny telling Leonard she's pregnant. That should have been 10 minutes screentime in itself. And the very last scene should have been the whole gang gathered in 4A to congratulate Penny. Sheldon could have made his suddenly-human speech there.

Totally agree, the writers just didn't care about Lenny.

Fans of Shamy maybe. It’s a difficult argument to sustain to say that fans of L/P would be satisfied with it. We saw more of the conception of Sheldon’s and Amy’s fictional Nobel than the conception of Leonard and Penny’s fictional child. One story had the weight of 12 seasons, the other was pure S12 fan service. 

And rating by tonnage is joyfully whimsical.

But compared to the Castle finale the TBBT finale was Nobel-worthy literature.

I feel like the LP Pregnancy plot in the finalie was fan service. IT is like having a nibble on a bone. That is fully bare. Yeah that is nice, but I am still hungry. If your a supporter of that dynamic, you were largely unsatisfied. It is true Sheldon And Amys Nobel Prize had more construction, and detail. Then Lennys pregnancy plot. Heres out it went 

Penny: I am not sure I want kids.

Leonard: Sweet as!

Penny: Oh damn I am pregnant!

Leonard: OMG I love you so much!

I always had the feeling that this author of Screenrant was a true friend of the Hofstadter couple. 😉

Contrary to many a claim (also by myself), even the TPTB had some elucidate moments in their assessment of Lenny after all. 🙂

I always had the feeling they read this forum. Many times articles would bring up arguments brought up here a little earlier
