Check the transcripts or the scenes, especially the seaon 9 one. There's a reason before season 12 you didn't see people going around saying Penny doesn't want kids. Maybe one or two people like one or two could also say Raj is going to be with Missy or Marry and Alfred will get married or whatever. It was not what the vast majority concluded.

Have you seen Kaley's interview from an event she attended on Saturday?  You can view it at  etonline.  The interviewer asks her about the episode where she reveals she may not want kids. She replied that it was a great episode to film since it was a sensitive subject to address.  But what made me interested is that she stated that "you never know what could happen"  As if this subject still has some legs.  She also talked about her marriage with Karl and if they want to have children. She emphatically says she does but she is not there yet. So, keep tuned for more news!

Yes, she's concentrating on her career right now, but she said they are meant to have kids!

Thanks for the information  She doesn't know what the writers will come up with so I think that's a smart way for her to answer, she wouldn't want to risk it. It is the writers who should be really asked about their decisions an explain them, but it's much easier for them to avoid that because they're not being interviewed as often as the actors. I prefer keeping my hopes extermely low and maybe have a good surprise, than having some shread of hope and getting burned again ><

I don't think the writers have ever been interviewed. Holland, Molaro, Lorre and Prady have been interviewed, but they know how to evade the tough questions!

Holland, Lorre, Prady and Molaro are all part of the writers of the show, and others have been to Comic Con and similar events. But they're not usually interviewed spontaneously, closed to when something like this nonsense happens, so by the time they are they may not be asked too much about it because time has passed. They also may have better control over the questions they're asked because it's not something spontenous and "on the go".

I was refering to the non-honcho writers. They haven't been interviewed by journalists other than ComiCon.

Probably, I just want a member of that passel of writers to tell us why they needed to waste an entire season on prepping for the shamy wedding. I have no problem with episodes 23 & 24. They did mainly the same thing with Lenny's wedding in Episodes 9/24 and 10/1. But answer why Lenny's wedding as was Howardette's to a degree, was interrupted by Sheldon and Shamy's went off interruption free. Although, I believe their answer will be for comedy's sake. That's a load of crap. That's just one of many questions I would like answered by someone other than "the big 4". But then, the most plausible answer will be "WE were told to do it that way".

Yeah, we're on the west side, which is the side you want to be on. We'll probably get Tropical Storm Force Winds. Probably between 40 to 60 MPH winds with a lot of rain. Better than 120+ MPH Winds!

1. Lennys whole milestones have been spontaneous. Their first date was, their first time they slept together. Leonards first ILY was purley in the moment after sex. When they reconciled in the 150th episode. So you know their behavoural patterns over the course of 12 seasons. Has not been lets sit down and rationally discuss this. Pennys proposals like when she was drunk. Was predominantly impulsive. And after acting career went down hill. Leonard accepted her proposal.

Whole of S8 they did not plan their wedding at all. And had a Vegas quickie. So excuse me if I Beleive the whole thing was built on spur of the moments. That is not a critisism, just a matter of fact. Their relationship was always based on strong emotion and feelings. And a solid foundation of friendship. But it wasent one where they had any thought process on any aspect of their relationship. Corny. But they go with what their heart is telling them. Not their head. And that can be a great thing and a bad thing. 

2. I don't want this show to delve into predictable plot lines. TBBT has always broken down story clichies, and sitcom tropes. So I am kinda happy with the story development with Lenny. Its not predictable. No one can say for sure they won't have kids. 

3. And Like Kaley said anything could happen. She has always been againgst working with kids on set. And even if they do have kids. Be some kinda flashforward. Even if Penny gives birth in the Series Final.

Good analysis   If you want to read a couple of good articles on the Lenny baby topic go to  cinemablend.com and denofgeek.com for some pretty good insight into this and what they think will happen in the future episodes.

ETA: Found the cinemablend one. I have read it before and didn't like it. They seem to forget the issue of children was talked before so it's not that Leonard "dropped a bombshell" on Penny with his assumption that they will have kids within 5 years. Anyway, I don't think Lenny will end up divorced, JMO of course.

Agree, but I’m afraid the writers might split them up in the middle of the season, so they can be back together again in the last episode (otherwise why all these hints with ‘how are you two still married’?)
