It's accomplished it's mission. As far as Penny settling for Leonard, that's bull. In my opinion, Bernadette settled for creepy Howard! Howard should thank his lucky stars, because no other woman would want him! Edited October 10, 2018 by chucky
Tonstar17 Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 Oh, I'm pretty confident or just "desperate" devout. Who knows. [emoji6]I think people are seeing the no kids thing as what would happen in real life if you had a couple that disagree on having kids. Gradually it could lead to divorce, but this is tbbt, they run things. See how it plays out.Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk

During this time, marriages are divorced twice and comedy seasons are extended. LOL

Die Zimtzicke Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 Another joke last night about settling, only now it's Bernie and Penny who are doing it. I think this running gag is going to keep running until the end.

I thought her hair was cute, but it suited with the beach, NOT the office. The dress, though... But remember she once bought the exact same black shirt with flowers like Raj, instead of that cute little red dress? So, enough said. UGH. Watching the Lenny baby episode again why did they feel the need to have Leonard struggle with opening the door when he spoke with Penny. It seems they wanted to inject some comedy into a pivotal and dramatic scene which was not called for. Why can't they write a scene once in awhile that has dramatic effect without the humor. I know this is a sit-com but I recall that MASH was basically a comedy but those writers were great in hashing out emotional dramatic scenes. I know the backdrop was a war and of course some situations were not meant to be funny. But those writers had some terrific episodes without alot of comedy in them. Just two I recall were when the doctors were trying to save a soldiers leg and they had a clock on the wall that showed the elapsed time. Another episode was when lead actor Alan Alda had a concussion and found himself with a Korean family who could not speak english and he practically had the only dialogue in the whole episode. These were great writing storylines. If only TBBT writers could take some hints from them.

SRAM Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 Last night was so much fun, we got to see a great bedroom scene with Howard and Bernadette, Bernadette not able to keep her hands off of Howard, and then Bernadette grossing Penny out (?) with her describing their fun sex life to her while all we get from Lenny is indication that Leonard’s jokes bore Penny. It was very telling that Bernadette gets so worked up over Howard that she could barely contain herself in a public setting......Oh well......We always have Inspector Gadget and a Bavarian Bar Maid (or something like that----I couldn't tell...) to look forward to. Yes, it’s like the writers suddenly trying to show how bad are Penny and Leonard together, comparing to the other couples... can’t figure out where are they going with this 🤔
