Actually to me it's eight that have been Sheldon/Shamy centric ,  only episodes 3 and 7 haven't been, but this of course is just how I see it. My bigger issue is that episode 10 is apparently the last episode before the holiday hiatus, correct me if i'm wrong but this will be the first time they've only shown 10 episodes before the holidays. And if it's true i'm disappointed as I was hoping we'd get a Christmas episode in this final season although there hasn't being a TR for the episode so it could very well be a Christmas episode. My bigger disappointment is that unfortunately we aren't going to ever see a Penny birthday episode which I think is just wrong.

I totally agree with you. They have never created a Penny episode revolving around her birthday which is absolutely wrong.  But make a big deal about Sheldon's birthday with the 200th episode which was really lame.  BTW, I counted episode 6 for Lenny even though it was the Halloween episode as the plotline seemed to center Lenny.

I don't know, seemed a lot of Howardette/Shamy to me. Lenny was featured as well!

Because Jim is moving on unless they get a suitable replacement for him!

Well I think I said this before, after a few months or years he’ll want a reboot

and spin offs don’t always have to the main characters in it 24/7. like there could be a spinoff about shamy children and their life, and Jim would only have to appear on there occasionally

I wouldn't want to see that, and I honestly think he's ready to move onto other things. I think once he moves on he'll never look back. He loves the theater and he's made enough money already to do anything he wants for the rest of his life. He could even do nothing for the rest of his life.

I think your wrong with every sacrifice comes emotion and up in bold is what it would look like without any emotion. JP has been on the show for 12 years now it’s been a huge part of his life. I know for certain what this feels like. I play instruments, and I understand once I  mastered one instrument I wanted some fresh new blood a new instrument to learn and master, but never have I ever stoped playing a old instrument because it is part of me. If Jim Parsons never wanted to look back after the show ended he would have never started or produced Young Sheldon. He said this specifically in a interview saying that young Sheldon would give him a good place to keep tbbt with him.

We were talking Shamy not their children. Shamy is different than the gang's children period!

I still think the best candidate for a spinoff would be a series about Howardette on a remote Scottish island working for NASA and/or ESA, which would provide scope for the old friends to visit or Skype or even be seconded for a while as their cost and availability permitted. The community on the island could include a medicines and microbiology research facility, dark skies for astronomy, a school and a social club, not to mention a pub or three. There would be other scientific research and experiments going on of course. And it would be a great place from which an artist could finally earn fame and fortune.

Nah, don't think so!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I called for Leonard because I had hoped he could explain to me what all this has to do with the "Dark Lenny thread". But I guess he has better things to do this weekend.

Well, last I saw he was chasing Penny around the island bar. Oh wait, he just stopped to use his inhaler!!  😉

When Jim started YS he had not made the decision yet to end TBBT. What else is he going to say? YS will ease him out of the whole scene, but I think he's already looking forward to new challenges, and probably so is Johnny. Jim probably started thinking about what he could do next when he was working through the decision to end his role as adult Sheldon. Yes, this has been a big part of his life, of all their lives, but in the end it's just a job. He's had many jobs and hopefully he will have many more, same as the rest of them. And he can still be friends with his coworkers if he wishes. I'm sure they would like that. But there are probably better places to discuss this than this thread.

Don't they ever get tired of this scene!  My god, is it too much to ask to give them a meaningful storyline

Too invested in the boring  shamy. IMHO, the only thing good about shamy is the in-laws!

I can only agree with you. Lenny set the tone / scene / mood for the rest of the other characters and they are indispensable until the end of this series. The writers have put themselves into this one-dimensionality. I don't expect them to have a story of their own and, above all, no longer a bigger coherent story until the bitter end.

But you know what's usually left of our predictions. So, let's go ahead…

It's like your words are coming from my head. Are you a mind reader?

Remember when we got the details of, and later watched, 12X03? Remember how at the time I said one of the things that really upset me about it is that it took away an obvious source of plots from characters that the writers barely have plots for? And how I said this might keep them sidelined again? 7 episodes later...

Yeah, a pregnancy plot would have been just perfect for Lenny in the final season, no doubt about that.
