Agreed, For years I thought he was a cutie pie, just as Bernadette called him. The others did say he was ' an ass' when he was sober, women just didn't hear it. I suppose we have to put down the fact that he once held on to a woman for two years to her liking strange things.Perhaps Penny can give him some acting lessons that help him talk like a normal person.

I never really liked Raj too much and the more we (as an audience) got to know him the more we discovered what a douche he really was. He has been a very bad friend  and a lot of his failures with women have been mainly his own fault. He needs (or wants) companionship but will go to great lengths to get it, no matter who he has to step over.

I liked him at first but then he turned out to be what you put here well.

One of the things I like about them and that they have in common is they're good friends to the others.

They can be good friends to Raj, but he's Howardette's problem. Lenny has enough on their plates having to deal with shamy.

I don't think Penny has the time and patience it'll take to do any good with Raj! Maybe Raj will finally let Amy cut into his head and discover what his is problem. Brains are her specialty.

Actually, since I like odd pairings, I think some scenes between Amy and Raj could be funny. They won't let her cut into his brain but she can be hilarious with Howard. Why not Raj? We all want the show to be funny and it would be something different, not just Shamy.

Well, according to Holland the first two episodes will be about Shamy honeymoon.  Gee, I guess they can write a honeymoon script?  Too bad they could not think of it a couple of seasons ago.....twice!

Im confused are you saying LP have a strained relationship? Your comments are very vague. I dont their marrage is broken at all. IT a very equal relationship. Opposed to Shamys unequal relationship. COnsidering the viewership has dwindled in recent seasons. And alot of the audience have tuned out. Due to constant focus on Shamy. I think the last thing the show needs is more fcous on Shamy. IT needs to refreshen the whole show up. And have some new story ideas.

How is their relationship "strained and broken"? Yes they had these stupid unreasonable fights in season 10 but they weren't "broken" then and it stopped when the writers realized it didn't come across the way they thought it would (just humor). I don't see anything strained or broken with them now, to me they seem happy and relaxed.

I totally agree! Lenny is definitely not a strained or broken relationship. Lenny has had a relationship for going on 12 years. They have been together for the whole run of the show, whether as a couple or just best friends. Amy can call Penny her "besty" all she wants, but we know that Leonard holds that position in her heart and her life. They may have had a rough patch now and then, but they are still going strong for going on 12 years. That's longer than any other couple or relationship.

If s12 is to be the last perhaps the writers will come up with plots that bring the show to a natural ending. Lenny moving elsewhere to start a family, Raj returning to India to marry perhaps.
