Strawberry
Reminder for anyone else here in Britain that might need reminding: Young Sheldon is back tonight. It's on E4 at 8 O'clock.
Die Zimtzicke
That WAS Kaley on the YS episode and I missed it! I'll have to look that one up. This is what Molaro said about it: Confirming that she played a taunting voice in a swimming pool, co-creator Steve Molaro revealed: “I needed someone to do the voice. I knew I wanted it to be female and kinda sexy, and I said, ‘Well, duh! Kaley is perfect for this.'” He added of his original pitch: “I said, ‘Hey, I have a weird pitch for you – Sheldon has a nightmare, and he has to go to this pool, and he speaks to the pool water. Do you want to be the voice of pool water?’ “She just laughed and said, ‘Absolutely, I do’.”

I hope they involve most of the cast from BBT in upcoming episodes Love the way they're keeping it connected, like the visit to the cafeteria...Sheldon telling us future things that happen with his wife, etc.. I was thinking of going to a convention in Orlando in October that just got cancelled. I'm in Indiana and the word is we may start to open May 4th but we are closer to Chicago than Indianapolis, so that makes me worry. I agree that some things might be able to open. I have a friend desperate for their knee replacement and all non-emergency surgeries have been cancelled, but I can't understand states that are opening weird stuff like some of the things a friend of mine in Georgia is telling me about. (Picture is from her.) Is there no middle ground?

Hi Die, Here in Florida, our idiot governor (the one that kept the beaches open during spring break) had issued an executive order stating WWE wrestling is an essential industry. Just what we need, a group of 20,000 or so getting together.

Just what we need, a group of 20,000 or so getting together. I live in Georgia and am shaking my head at the Governor's decision. Partly because I fear it is too soon, but mostly because of what he's allowing to reopen. Bowling alleys, fitness centers, salons, etc. These are not essential industries. Not even close. Though to be fair I have to consider the owners of these businesses and their concerns about whether they can financially survive remaining closed. The owners of the shop that cuts my hair have said they are not reopening today. That they will wait until May 5th. Since the latest projections are that Georgia is still weeks from it's Covid-19 peak it doesn't really seem that waiting another 10 days will make a major difference. Today in Georgia it comes down to choices. Business can choose to reopen or remain closed. People can choose to patronize open businesses or stay away. I will stay away and that is for two reasons: 1. I do not trust my fellow humans to do the right thing. On my rare forays out into the world I am seeing too many people without masks (and/or gloves) who absolutely refuse to observe any measure of social distancing. Also, I simply do not trust those who may be sick to stay home and not put others at risk.; and 2. I do not trust the businesses themselves to follow the guidelines issued by the governor's office that are supposed to ensure safety. Some of them won't do so because of indifference, but many won't because they simply cannot make a restaurant, bowling alley, movie theater, fitness center, etc., sterile. It can't be done. But, staying away for the near future is my choice. Others who are willing to take the risk may do so. Perhaps this is how it should be. Here in my subdivision they put police tape around play lots and people were lifting the tape to let the kids play on the equipment and taking pictures of it and posting them. I didn't know there were so many idiots round here. Many stores in Indiana are doing a good job, requiring masks and limiting the number of people going in, but people are just being idiots. I'm not sure how much help gloves are. People are wearing them all day long going in and out of stores touching things, driving around in them and then at the end of the day throwing them down in the parking lots. I told a friend of mine if people don't understand the seriousness of this and they get it and die I won't feel sorry for them. She chewed me out talking about who they will spread it to. I used to say that, too, but now my idiot friends and relatives who are blowing this off can just stay the hell away from me. I don't want them in my house and I am giving everyone outside when I have to go, which is maybe once a week a wide berth. This guy isn't just a joke. He's all too real where I am. https://www.gif-vif.com/gifs/True-story-160/?fbrefresh=23&fbclid=IwAR17LHAN1VUqJCDSYOPSJWwE2qyDFfzS-4CiKo3ffaMDpuj-Gm2h7_DOJ5I Edited April 24, 2020 by Die Zimtzicke

The bolded, I agree with. however, if a business choses to open, what of the employees who are not willing to take such a risk. They are reduced to either quitting, and losing unemployment, or going to work and risk catching the virus. They are the one's who are caught between a rock and a hard place. I'm limiting my trips to necessities, such as food, medical, or household goods, , usually in one trip, at a grocery store (where my pharmacy is), or a delivery from a restaurant. In Georgia's case, I've bowled in professional tournaments, there is no way bowling is a essential industry.

As Chucky said, "I just go with the flow." But in the spirit of cooperation, I'll offer this on topic comment: Season 12 was a monumental disappointment. Wasted on the Shamy Nobel story line which was, in itself, bogged down with that nonsensical story involving those two idiots that were trying to steal credit for the idea. In a season of mediocrity that was the biggest waste of time. Closely pursued by the Penny not wanting children drama. Don't get me wrong. There were episodes I enjoyed and there weren't any I will not watch in reruns, but they could, and should, have done so much better. By my count 13 episodes were devoted to the Shamy quest for the Nobel, 7 for P&L: episodes 3, 6 (this was the Halloween episode but I counted it for P&L as they were featured) 12 , 15, 17, & 22. Two episodes devoted to ensemble D&D, Paintball. The final two episodes you can also count for Shamy as they were dedicated to the Nobel prize ceremony. I will always feel a little cheated that we did not get to see more of the Penny and Leonard story and also for Raj. I didn't think much of his character but at least they could have given him some kind of closure.
