Well, here it is Sheldon screwing with someone's career just to get his way.

I liked Raj and Howard at the end. The rest of the episode was just terrible.

Yeah, the bromance continues! I'll say this, the Lenny coitus must be great as that's probably the only reason they're still together. Their inter actions in the apartment makes me ask, are they married or just friends?

I actually thought Lenny was funny tonight. They seemed to be the best couple

Yeah I dont agree. I Thought they came across very married, and unified, and funny. But I well post my thoughts later on the whole episode. Lenny coming across as more friends is more S8.

I think part of the problem was their time was rather brief. I can handle that if the episode is good. This wasn’t. Bob went out on a sad note as a marriage counselor.

on a side note I read Jessica Radloff and she was getting mad at Gablehauser saying he should be fired. LOL. Two things Jessica. Gablehauser will never be on the show again. Two JMO he wasn’t the problem.

Got to see another Amy's work, very good, loved it.

Got to hear Amy was hard to be replaced and very important to the university, loved it.

Sheldon was being really selfish and a jerk, nothing new here. Hated it.

Howardette were really good and sweet, so I'm gonna let last week's Bernie's "fine" comment slide.

PP's appearance was really lame and boring, oh well.

Lenny, I don't know, Raj laughed Leonard's joke yet Penny found it boring? Although TBH, I didn't laugh at Leonard's joke, either. So, no harm done?

Loved Penny's boring face when she was listening to Sheldon's work. Their scenes now were just pathetic.

Howard and Raj, "gay for each other", old but good.

Siebert, with his physics knowledge and his cut and dry tone, saved this episode for me, thanks.

First thoughts after coffee.

I know TV-shows exist in their own universe but this one went over the line. How on earth did anyone in the writers room or on the production team think this was funny?

Bernie was the only comedian in this episode, but this time she wasn't there in time.

Too mad and angry with what I just saw to go into any great detail about the episode. I ALMOST switched it off, I felt that uncomfortable and just angry about it.

Sheldon crossed a line (Siebert as well), it was selfish, obnoxious and I could come up with a number of swear words to express what I thought of him in this one, there is a British one that rhymes with Banker. Oh he was such a Banker in this one. Sheldon polarizes this forum and yes I do think a lot of the criticism on here is unfair and underserved a lot of the time. However to those who have that view about Sheldon just this week and in the confines of this episode I would lean more towards your thinking.

The one positive I took from this one? It reminded me how much I love the Amy character, the strong independent, driven woman that is my favourite character. It's a shame she had to go through something like this to remind me why I love her character. I wanted to give her a Hug!

How this episode got through to taping is beyond me. I'm never ever going to watch this again, its joined a small list alongside Speckerman and Viewing Party Combustion.

They've lost it, Season 12 was the right time to end it on the evidence so far this season.

I laughed at parts. Thought Bernie was funny in the planetarium. On a personal level, I found the Lenny interactions funny because they are so much like my marriage and Penny being so convinced about the flights of stairs she went out of her way to prove Leonard wrong but wasn’t is just my life every day so I laughed. What annoys me is that their life is portrayed as so boring. With Sheldon out, they’ve simply moved from the island to the couch and every week Penny seems to be playing on her phone while Leonard is just sitting there doing some mundane thing. Yes that’s real life in our marriage but we’re in our 50s and been married 26 years and if we had the opportunity to portray our life on TV we would pick 100s of interesting humorous adventures before boring the viewers with another episode of my wife flicking digital fruit on her iPad while I do my school work[emoji35]. Cmon, get them out of the house and let them do something! ( Yes they were at the Planetarium this week but that’s just another type of couch to sit on without doing anything!)

I love Shamy the scientists and I loved Shamy the boy/girl friends but Shamy the married couple is getting too sickly sweet for me. For me, and I’m sure Shamies will disagree vehemently, their interactions are bordering on Sheldon and his Mom in Young Sheldon when they work on resolving their problems after a Sheldon stuff up. Not working for me.

The bromance was laid on a bit thick at the end at the Planetarium.

Bob still makes me laugh just being Bob. Has since the 70s. Even if the situation was a bit lame.

Hoping Halloween episode kicks into another gear cos it’s just spluttering along at the moment.

Amy’s story was a strong message about women wanting their own life achievements which I appreciated

Amy once gave a good hint on how to handle such scripts.

Married, yes. Unified, No. Funny, definitely not. Penny had her funny moments with the stairs. with the exception of the "Bromance", this episode was boring, even Lenny parts. Forgot about Sheldon and the shoes under the bed part!

I am half way through last weeks episode. And i am falling asleep. The continued migration of Young Sheldon and TBBT. IS completley diluting the series. To the point it is a shadow of its former self. I don't think I agree show has ended at the right time. That should of been around Season 7. I would like to think. Alot of this deterioating writing was before the cancellation announcement. And around the Halloween episode. Well see the writing shift into 5th gear. Do they really want at its peak one of the funniest sitcom of all time. To be remembered like this? Feels like they are just dialing it in more then ever now Anyway my thoughts on this episode. It is such a train wreck of gigantic proportions.

  • Sheldon effectively Sabotages Amys work. By reassigning Amy.. And making her take a sabbatical. Just to suit him. This is a True A Hole move by Sheldon. To go behind Amys back like that. It is selfish, petty, and juvinile. I just cannot beleive the writers thought this was funny. Or how it made through the taping. It was great seeing Dr Galbuenhieser again. But not in circumstances I would of liked. It was nice seeing Bob Newhart again. But pretty underwhelming. A Revelation though. He's even a jerk to his subconcious.
  • I thought Kaley saved this episode from being Speckerman lvl. Her run down the stairs. And back LOL.
  • The Howard Raj stuff in the end just put it back on track. That was really funny

I diddn't mind Leonard and Penny I Thought they were funny. And in sync. Just a bit of good ol Married Banter. Maybe not the shippy feelings some are looking for. But I got a kick out of it. Diddn't mind Pennys your joke is boring joke either. Like I Said banter. Problem is alot of Lennys lifestyle is so boring. Penny sits their. And Leonaard does mundane stuff around the Apt. I dont know make them find a hobby they can both share. I remember they were both watching Luke Cage. Find some netflix Show they can both watch together. They are not old ppl. They are in their prime. Their lifes diddn't have to stop cos they got married.

And another thing

AMY YOU GODDESS

Absolutely! Excuse me guys but as this thread is not about ships, I think I can do this: Amy rocks!!

She was brilliant.

Maybe this is what I'm really upset about. They have them acting old and boring. I'd like to see a little more excitement in their marriage. Love to see the love between them that we saw in Episode 10/1. Where did that go? Seems to have gone from loving to boring.

Yeah personally I Think the affection is still their. Their dynamic is still really fun at times. The whole stair thing was fun. Just feel the writers have stopped caring. Final Run I guess.

I’m sorry if I got involved with my wife’s work  like what happened in this episode at the very minimum I would been sleeping on the couch. Having a dream on what I should of done wouldn’t of saved me.
