Zack is a goof, but I have seen no evidence he's a nasty person or mean spirited. There can be contrast but he can already be nice and kind-hearted. I didn't say he was, I think he's a good guy (hence "nice goof"), what I meant was, if they will be going for this, I hope they establish her as a good person as well. I actually like the idea that Zack feels that impressed about Leonard that he wants his DNA for his child, it is about time someone thinks highly of Leonard. Penny was right at the end, she has no right to decide what Leonard does. That is about the best I can say about the episode, it just was more sad to me than funny. Chrismo Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 there is a bit of irony with the story tonight, Lenny was jealous of what Zack has but Lenny had something Zack wanted. Penny was just totally clueless till the tag tonight. Leonard might of not taken Zack’s offer that seriously if it wasn’t for Marissa. While most of the scene she came off as not too bright her taking Zacks opinion of Leonard and repeating what he told her was very genuine and believable to me. As to did this change Penny’s on kids? bfm Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Well at least they started the donor thing late in the episode, so I could enjoy most of the previous parts. In the first half, I did not enjoy the car scene and the part where Bernadette practically suggested Penny would cheat,on Leonard, which is insulting to both, can't believe Penny did not get mad at her! Bernadette is being a pretty crappy friend this season! It felt so OOC that Sheldon was the one to consider the emotional aspects of sperm donation and Leonard didn't even think about it. I've already wrote so much about how whacky and ridiculous this whole sperm donor thing is, I'm too tired to delve into it again. I also think bring up something like that is disrespectful to the topic of people not wanting children, Penny doesn't want children so this is what follows? Come on. Penny seemed very determined about not wanting children. She stated it as a fact, a final decision, more than once and now she lets Leonard have a biological child with someone else... At least there was a nice moment with Leonard and Penny on the boat before the donation thing came up. I liked the last scene between Raj and Anu. This is what I thought they should do, date and see how things go. I really don't feel like going on more about this episode. I'm off to watch The Good Place to lift my spirits.
