Not sure why Lenny was brought into the discussion. The poster you replied to had no mention of that.

Because I think both have been boring this season. I thought the Zach stuff and the entire donation thing was boring and not funny in anyway. I feel the entire season is boring to date.

Yes, the comic book angle was one of THE best things Howard, Bernadette and Stewart have done in a LONG time.

Sweet.

I wish that book was available for purchase. It was too cute. I loved the artwork.

To me your comment about Lenny May have belonged on the season 12 thread. While I don’t disagree with you the assymetry storyline has been going on a lot longer

i actually like the book too.

Is it only me who finds this super asymmetry story super boring.... and such a long unfunny plot in the last season feels like a complete downer....

While I truly understand and wish assymetry would go away,(I’m sick of Sean Astin and Kal Penn) it depends somewhat on what you watch in the episode. I liked Lenny in the episode. They truly looked liked they belong together which isn’t always the case. Obviously you are going to have toplay along with Penny knowing Kip Thorn(an unseen meeting?) but I’m kind of use to that. I was all ready to hate the Howdette storyline but it was one of the better b storylines of late.

Howardette's storyline saved this episode I thought, they often have storylines of this type mainly away from the rest of the cast and Simon and Melissa can and do pull it off.

I could think of another S word to replace the word 'Super' in Super Asymmetry that reflects what I think of the creative efforts of the writers and this turd of a storyline. Are they going to keep bringing those odious scientist characters back? Nothing against the actors and they are playing the roles really well but man oh man do I not like these douchebag characters.

Another average episode in a season of mediocrity.

Well we finally get a new episode and it was a disappointment, i found not funny or entertaining, it was just boring for me to watch, even having Siebert in didn't help.    Of course it is probably down to the fact i am so tired of the super-asymmetry/ Nobel prize story arc and i wish it would just end. But unfortunately, i suspect me and anyone else who has no interest in the story arc are going to half to suffer it till the end of the show. Because i suspect it will only be concluded in the finale  .

The Howardette story was better , but was overshadowed by my dislike of the other story.

Oh it was surprising to see Sheldon thank?Lenny for what they did , it was also good to see Leonard tell Sheldon to shut up

Agree with your post but especially the bold part.   I too love the actors but can’t stand the characters they are playing on this show!  They seem like a couple of dim whitted  “scientists” who stumbled into their careers, forget about stumbling into proving this theory of Shamy’s.  If they end up getting the Nobel (and we all know this arc will go on to the end), I for one will be so pissed!  I’d rather Shamy get it but if they don’t, I sure as hell don’t want these FRAUDS to get it!

Was fine to me. Not great but I am tired of Leonard slamming Sheldon all the time...the jokes are old and tiresome now.  Kind of like the Leonard settled for Penny ones. They put all the effort into having  him evolve over the years but are still content to trash him in every single episode.

The best part for me was the female scientist I read she is the first female Nobel scientist to be on the show. So I enjoyed that as well.

I was happy Amy spoke up. I am annoyed that Shamy did the work but may not get the credit they deserve.

I loved Howardette. Howie had the best line about green eggs and ham. That made me chuckle. The book at the end was really cute.

You mean like how Sheldon pathologicaly insists on devauling Leonards Career and Intelligence? Yeah.

Isn’t the assymetry storyline a fraud itself?

Yeah I don't see how Shamy are any less frauds them selfs. They kinda stumbled into discovering the Theory, that has been disprooven.

Anyway i just watched the episode. Decent. I liked the Opening scene, with Ellen. That was cool. Felt more realistic I have seen as far as characters sitting around watching TV. Cool they got Ellen to shoot that segment. I Thought that was the funniest scene of the episode.

I personally thought Johnny and Kaley stole the episode. IT was really one of those episodes that showed how compatible Leonard and Penny are. Their ability with people has always been their biggest strength. Hence why Leonard is arguably more likeable with his Friends and Collegues, then Sheldon is. I thought Penny was funny. Reading The Gravitational Pull Theory off her phone. "Oh you worked on Inception!".

I diddn't mind the actors who are playing scientists. They are not over or underplaying their part. Cool they had a female nobel prize winner for Chemistry. I find the plot overall boring though. I prefered The Guidance System Plot to this. Although the Howard Astronaut Book Plot was cool.

I liked the episode--I'm not excited about the plot--the scientists singing on the Ellen show was a bit dorky,  and its annoying they're so blatantly wrong to be seeking credit. But knowing it's one of the last episodes of the series I enjoy watching the cast interact-- You can tell that the show ending is all on their minds and they're enjoying every last moment together.

Sheldon and Leonard have been best friends since show one and I especially liked their scene together, Sheldon was sweet and listened and Leonard was a good friend to him--giving him helpful advice. Glad Leonard saved Sheldon from freakin' out and Amy did instead, I thought Mayim did a good job for such an awkward moment

I really am interested how this show will end.

I guess it's another case of difference of opinion we both enjoy the program in our own ways

You'd be surprised to hear of all the times this has happened in the history of science.  Newton for one.  George Airy for another.

I probably would be. I am honest to a fault.

IMO the way they wrote those other physicists, as kind of dull opportunist villains, fits with the overall childishness of the story. Oohh look at those villains! They so not deserve this! They are the bad guys! Hate them audience, and root for Shamy! Again, it all feels like a Nickelodeon/Disney show.

The only ones who felt responsible for the "serious" fun in this episode were Leonard and Penny. And that as successful team player in thoughts and action.

After all the belittling Sheldon gives to Leonard and his constant insults to Penny for her past relationships, you don't think that Leonard has to even up the score a little?  He is still way behind in this game!

Nope. Leonard is better then that...but I have never been an eye for an eye person. One of the things that I do like about Leonard is that he is smart enough to understand Sheldon has social difficulties. I love that he tries to help his friend instead of take him down. Leonard is the better person for helping him and not making the situation worse. I like people that lead by example. I think this is why he is the leader of the group, he is great in that respect.
