Texas geography

Good point. Something a native Texan would catch, but the general perception of non-Texans is that the state consists of arid landscapes, mesquite trees and horned frogs. Throw in a few tumbleweeds, jackrabbits and some cattle and there isn't anything else to add. Geography aside, the cow in the opening is a dairy cow. Not exactly a Texas staple. Guess they don't want the family confronting a typically bad tempered longhorn...

longhorn....Longhorn.....mmmmmmmm steak....   But, yeah, the idea of Texas was driven into a lot of head by John Wayne and the cowboy pictures of the forties and fifties.
