How are live scenes recorded?

Hi everyone, I'm an Italian fan, not having had the chance to see the live show I was wondering how the recording of the episodes took place.  Were the scenes turned in order so as to make the audience understand the plot of the episode?

Hello. As someone who attended a few tapings, I can only speak of my experiences. The episodes I saw were mostly in order. They might take a scene live, then they direct you to a screen to watch a prepared scene, and so on.
