I'm not looking for spoilers, just curious did anyone actually get into the taping?   I saw what they posted on instagram and it looked like all tickets were standby only with no guaranteed tickets being allowed in.     

I know for the season 11 finale with all of the guest stars a ton of guaranteed people didn't even get in

Looking at the released pictures I am not real excited. Seems to be another Lenny centric final episode. Does not give much excitement really but for two them. Not expecting much as a Shamy fan

I'm with @shell on this, they chose the pictures carefully. Besides, there are more Howardette pictures than Lenny ones, there are only 2 Lenny pictures and they seem to have been taken seconds apart.

After looking at the pics again I am even more disappointed. Are Sheldon and Amy even going to have a happy ending? They both look miserable. Amy crying in the bathroom with Raj? Oh brother. I think I am going to be really disappointed. I have no desire to see sad Amy and Sheldon. Meanwhile Lenny looks nice and happy and cozy. I guess I should be thrilled for that. and I am, but not one happy, cozy picture of Shamy?

Also looks like a ton of guests 🙁 Burt, Kripke. Whoever the supposed jaw dropper surprise guest is.  I was hoping it would just be the primary cast. Otherwise takes away too much of the main cast. Probably 10 minutes of previously on Big Bang Theory recap for each of the two shows. 

Yes, I am feeling grumpy, and sad. And I am not ready to say goodbye even though I know it is time. 

This is just going to suck.

I believe it's all going to be fine.  I think the pictures that were released were meant to stir up interest.

So maybe some drama in episode 23, resolutions in episode 24.  I'm not worried.

These pictures don't stir my interest though. I think that by looking at them it is clear they are disappointed about the Nobel prize and not getting a nomination. I am not sure what kind of interest or mystery that is supposed to be giving people. I think most people don't believe they will actually get a nomination. And if they don't get a nomination, why spend an entire season on it? 

I just feel I will not be thrilled with the ending. But who knows. I am a loyal fan and will watch the finale regardless. 

I can always hope for a decent ending.

I think the Nobel story line was about the struggle to achieve, working as a team, the politics of it all, not the prize itself.  I haven't made up my mind yet but I am leaning towards them not getting a nomination for this project.

We've had Sheldon and  Shamy shoved down our throats for 5 years. So what if they have to share the final episodes with the others.

So what is the happy ending here? Just knowing they will have kids someday thanks to info from Young Sheldon? That is the ending for them? Nothing from the original show? Just from what Sheldon said before on a different show? That doesn't sound fair.

They don't have to win at everything.  The Nobel could come later.  They have come so far.  We don't know what they have planned for them in the finale.

Thanks for being my counselor. We really don't know. Perhaps that is what has me edgy. I usually have a little idea at least.

It kills me not to have any idea at all about what to expect.
