1224 'The Stockholm Syndrome' (May 16)

Recommended Posts

I asked a friend ( not face to face of course ) how she thought Sheldon would react to the Covid-19 restrictions. She said Sheldon would send Amy out to do any shopping that couldn't be bought by online delivery. Amy would have to pass through a decontamination chamber built over the door before coming into the apartment.

I suggested they'd have moved by now, to a bigger apartment or a house. They might have a child just able to sit up and take notice. It needs fresh air and Amy thinks its brain should be exposed to stimuli out of doors. Is it too hot in California in June to see and smell flowers, the sea, birds, butterflies, trees, etc in a park ? My friend said she thought Sheldon woud have devised a 'family safe-perambulation device' that protects them all when they go for a walk. She says The Flinstones had one. I can't quite remember : I'm imagining something like the top half of a miniature train carriage over them with their legs exposed.

I went in expecting to be disappointed.  This last season was hard to watch.  There were things that didn't make sense and in the end, per usual, were in fact wasted plots. Raj/Anu, Penny doesn't

Really? No one commented on th episode here yet? Maybe in Season Discussion... Nah, I'll have it here. Hmm... It's hard to think of a general description for how I felt about the episode. Yes, I

We've had Sheldon and  Shamy shoved down our throats for 5 years. So what if they have to share the final episodes with the others.

With Sheldon's over reaction tendencies, anything is possible!

Creepy is not a harsh enough word for Amy's suggestion of shared breastfeeding. Sometimes I wonder if she's somehow related to Howard.

She WAS into pioneer days stories, when wet nurses, as they were called, were more common. Getting someone else to feed your kids used to be the norm before there was formula. It was more common with royalty and the well off, than with the lower classes, but certainly happened a lot. Poorer people were often hired to do it.

Steel creepy to me. The royalty and well off can have it. Thank god my wife never even considered that form of nursing. In the show Penny seemed disgusted when Amy brought up that subject.

Yeah i thought it was a wee  bit creepy too and I found Amy's suggestion of mutual perineal massages even creepier. 😬
