Tensor
In what way? I have some nit picks about the final, but hardly disappointed.
Die Zimtzicke
Yeah, because it wasn't really a good story. They just made a laundry list of stuff they thought the fans would like and checked everything off one by one. And not going into Lenny's reaction to the pregnancy kind of spoiled it as i see it. But this has been discussed to death in the season 12 episode thread and I suggest you check it out.

I'm sure some were disappointed, but not me. I wasn't completely satisfied, but all in all not too bad!

Nogravitasatall
I still can’t legally watch it. That’s disappointing. Episode 19 is as far as Oz has gone. So I’m banking my outrage It gives Sheldon and Amy a science-fictional Nobel, so there is that. Science fiction.
Swedish Chef
I'm not disappointed in the final episode but I think that TPTB and the writers could have done a much better season 12 when they knew that it was going to be the last season. 3ku11
Had a satisfying ending. Should appreicate that. Most shows cannot say that.

HeWolf
I was okay with the final episode. How it all played out, and where it left the characters worked well for me. The penultimate episode was a let down. What I have surprisingly discovered is my complete indifference to watching TBBT reruns now that the series has ended. I haven't seen more than a few seconds of TBBT despite the abundance of opportunities presented on a daily basis.

I prob wont watch for a while. I know when Friends ended. I diddn't watch the show again for years.

I think of them as the dark seasons.
TBBT78
Only in as much as we won’t get to see any of the Lenny pregnancy storyline played out on screen. I wish season 12 had begun with Penny discovering she was pregnant. I was a bit disappointed for Raj that he didn’t get a happy ending with anu.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
chucky
I have no problem with Raj/Anu. The writers wasted film time with their on and off relationship. But, I agree with your assessment on the Lenny pregnancy!

She would have been due in May, and they could have spent the season with a story here and there about her pregnancy. The caveat, to that would be that Leonard and Penny wouldn’t have been able to make the trip to Sweden.

The trip may have been in December, we weren't given a date so I'm not sure if they followed the RL Nobel timeline or not. Leaving home or taking to Sweden a 7 months old may be hard but possible. I'm disappointed about the season, not so much the finale. 12×03 was a huge mistake IMO. I think a pregnancy arc would've been far better, and if not maybe some thinking over the timing and then trying.

Yes, penny giving birth followed by her and Leonard watching the Nobel prize ceremony on the internet and Skyping with everyone would have made a lovely finale storyline. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes This is so true. So much of season 12 was devoted to Shamy quest for the Nobel prize. By my count it was about 13 episodes. Lenny had about 7 episodes and this included the ill-fated 12x3. Knowing it was the last season they could have given more storylines to Lenny and it would have been much sweeter to see Penny tell Leonard she was pregnant and also telling her parents would have been a special moment. But in retrospect I guess we should be grateful that tptb felt compelled to appease fans request for a Penny pregnancy. So to the re-runs it is. What episode is on tonite? I didn't want to see any more pregnancies, so in that sense the season was okay up until the end for me personally. I know others feel differently and that's okay. The writers had no problem having Penny tell Leonard she didn't want kids or getting upset with Zack's request! Maybe you didn't want another pregnancy, but some of us did. It was ridiculous that we were forced with, not one but two Howardette pregnancies. Edited June 17, 2019 by chucky
