Young Sheldon: The Complete Third Season will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in Region 1 on Tuesday, September 1st!!! :) As it has been the case for the past two releases, the Blu-ray version will be available through the Warner Archive Collection. Both two-disc sets will include all 21 episodes from the 2019-2020 season and will be accompanied by the special feature "The Coopers, East Texas, and the 80's." A glimpse at the cover is attached below! You can read the full press release here.

NOTE: If you click on the link, there appears to be a typo in the author's text. At one point, the writer mentions a date of May 12th, which is clearly incorrect. Everywhere else lists 09/01/2020 as the tentative date. Pre-order links are unavailable at this time, but I expect them to appear in the near future.

'Young Sheldon' Sets Rich Syndication Deal With ViacomCBS

The Big Bang Theory continues to pay off for Warner Bros. TV.

In a rich deal, the indie studio has inked a syndication deal with ViacomCBS for Big Bang spinoff prequel Young Sheldon. Under the multiple-year deal, the 1990s-set single-camera comedy from Chuck Lorre will join ViacomCBS-owned Nick at Nite's syndication lineup in November.

The lucrative deal, financial terms of which were not immediately available, will see the first three seasons of the comedy about the younger version of Jim Parsons' Sheldon Cooper join Nick at Nite's evening block that also includes repeats of Friends, George Lopez and the Lorre-backed Mom. Season four, which is expected to air on CBS sometime in the fall (pending pandemic-related production delays), will join Nick at Nite in 2021.

From Deadline Hollywood (10-9-2020)

‘Young Sheldon’ Production Paused For A Day Because Of Positive COVID-19 Test

Production on CBS’ Young Sheldon was shut down for today, I have learned. I hear the decision was made this morning after a COVID-19 test result for a production team member came back positive. Young Sheldon, from Chuck Lorre Prods. and Warner Bros TV, started production on its fourth season  September 22 in Los Angeles and was about to begin filming Episode 3.

The diagnosis of the production member, who is asymptomatic, was discovered as part of the ongoing regular testing implemented by Warner Bros TV for all production employees. The person is currently in isolation. Out of an abundance of caution, production on Young Sheldon was paused for today. The show will be back up on Monday as scheduled.

It's getting to the time Missy needs her own room again. Will there be ructions over Sheldon and Georgie  each refusing to shae a oom with the other; will they have to get a builder in to alter the layout of the floor; will they have an extension built or will they move to the house on blocks ?
