I like the theme song, but not 100% convinced by the video attached to it. The cow showed in the first couple of episodes was odd indeed, I think they replaced it with a bale of hay in the last one, which is better, but still weird.

TBH I think YS open is weird as I can not see much of Sheldon character there, you know ...

I really like it, I think it goes to show how out of place Sheldon is in his hometown.

Not to be picky, but Mary just used the phrase “Booyah!”. I don’t think that was a thing then. It would have been great and hilarious if she said “Bazinga!”.

What does Boohyah mean ? If whatever it is became a popularword later, perhaps Mary coined it :)

It is sort of like “bazinga” originally (I think-someone help me here) used by someone on SportsCenter.

LOL I don't know what SportsCenter is. Sorry about this. :)

I'm just waiting for someone to upload the episode so I can download it.

No need to apologize. SpotsCenter is a popular sports news show here in the US. It specializes in showing highlights of sporting events. A sportscaster (who I believe tragically passed away from cancer two years ago) coined the phrase ”Booyah!!” To emphasize big sports plays.

Thanks for the explanation. Actually I woudn't have otherwise known what Mary said. The subtitles won't be available for a few hours yet.Evem with them I won't know most of what they're talking about. I know what a cheerleader and a coach are. The rest of the jargon is a mystery. :)

It's kind of like "in your face"

Oh dear. Is it my ethnicity or my age I'm showing here ? I've not heard 'in your face' in this context before. Mary looked triumphant there so I think I can guess its meaning. :)  Something like, 'So there !' or 'Put that in your pipe and smoke it' ?

It's seems like the series' YouTube channel inevitably removes these promos, once the episodes air. Nevertheless, here is the promo for "A Brisket, Voodoo, and Cannonball Run." The story was written by Nick Bakay, who also writes for Mom and was the voice of Salem on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

I must say that I'm a little disappointed that there isn't a Christmas episode this season. After all, Sheldon gave a pretty vivid description of the Coopers' Christmases back in season 3's "The Maternal Congruence." Aw, maybe during season 2 (which isn't official, but is a safe bet.)

I wonder if the show will still bd going strong by the end of the season. This week's episode was disappointing with a plot and dialogues that has been done in so many other shows. I hope it's just a weak one and things will pick up.

Is it me or does his dad look quite a lot like Jim?! That explains why Iain looks like Jim...

Glad you pointed that as, when I saw the IG post for the first time, I thought it was Jim whom was with Ian, hehe!
