joyceraye Posted December 6, 2019 Posted December 6, 2019 I feel sorry for John, but he made what seemed the right decision at the time and who's to say he was wrong ? He should stick to it despite his feelings.

In my world he's a bowler. LOL. I thought she gave him a terrific rugby tackle and a lesson in life. Those children are all very good in their parts. It's interesting to watch them grow. I hope they're making good money for their future.

Missy may be my favorite.

I love how all the generations fit into the story, including the long-suffering teachers and principal. And Billy Sparks is played big and clumsy enough to have broken Sheldon's collarbone. Poor lad, singing Old MacDonald's Farm when the rest of the congregation were singing Be Thou My Vision ( very drearily, I thought ) because nobody had made sure he actually had the right book to sing from and he hadn't noticed. How they all made it through that scene with a straight face has my admiration - I wonder how many takes it took ?
