Comic Book Store Furniture

Recommended Posts

In Comic Book Store Regeneration, Howard sees his Mom’s den furniture being used in Stewart’s store.

The furniture itself intrigues me.  Although the pieces used are old and tattered, I like the design.  Can anyone please fill me in on it?  Specifically, what’s the style called?  What design era is it from (art deco, mid-century modern, etc)?  Does anyone still make pieces like this?

Thanks for your patience, but a couple of Google searches turned up nothing.

Furniture is not my area of expertise. So I can't help you in your quest of this knowledge.
