Will we ever meet Howard's mother?

Having viewed every episode many times, I wonder if we'll ever be introduced to the mother of Howard. We've met Leonard's and Sheldon's mother and both of Raj's parents. Now even Penny's father has appeared. I would like to see her in an upcoming epeisode. What do you think?

I think Howard's mother is best left a mystery, sort of like Wilson on Home Improvement. We probably all imagine her in different ways, which is cool. HOWEVER, I think a visit from Sheldon's Memaw would be a NUMMY treat!! Click on the link above to join my Facebook campaign to get Memaw on the show!!!

Why would we want to see Howard's Mom? If you have to, show her from behind

walking into Junior's Deli Bakery like Maris on Frasier! No need see the rest!

Leave a little to the imagination. I think we all know what Howard's Mom looks like

just listening to her voice. Please, I don't want to have nightmares!

The idea of having th opportunity to find-out Howard's mother will be the equivalent to colapse a blue gigant star and poop-out an iron fist core of dreadful skin fleaks of a suedy culture meal. I think her appearance will unbalance the big bang mathematical formula...

However, Sheldon's endeaver to familiarize himself with any of his friends MOMs, will sucomb to met a MILF and have a black hole of passion. Fans, never give up with have too many episodes ahead.

Hmm... I'm also wondering what she would look like. But then on the other hand, it would be beter not to show her... I'm not a fan of Horror and not showing her is also why it is always so funny to see Howard yell at her.

I always picture her as the woman who played Joey's agent in Friends (I thought she was called Estelle?). Maybe it is the same actress... they do have similar voices! ;)

I agree that it would be best if they dont show her. It definitely adds to the comedy of the show to hear the crazy things they yell at each other.

I always pictured her as a bigger woman (due to the many references to her girdle), who wears a bathrobe all day and has curlers in her hair. lol :)

No - I don't think I'd want to. Maybe the back of her head or something like that but I think the voice booming through the walls at Howard is a total scream. I like the mystery of not knowing what she looks like; her voice is all the character she needs. My five cents worth. :fi_lone_ranger:

I doubt it ,but if we do I think we'll be pretty surprised at how good she looks because the voice sounds just like Julie Kavner -who ,in real life, looks just fine instead of like the gorgon we are imagining. In fact in the 70s she looked a lot like Bernadette does now so Howard is not straying from the familiar.

I like the bodiless voice, personally.

By now, however, the viewers, on an individual basis, have all built her up mentally on how she looks. If they try to introduce an actor to the voice, I'm sure MOST of the viewers will be disappointed or at least thinking "that's not how I pictured her". By now it's best to just leave it alone. If it works, why break it?

Me too!! I picture that woman too - must be the voice!

the fact that we never get to see her adds to the humour, IMO. I for one would be disappointed if she looked different to what I imagine

I like the mystery of not knowing what she looks like, but getting all sorts of ideas from the voice. It's a bit like The Nanny, where we never saw Morty. Until near the end, which was rather disappointing to say the least. Keep her hidden!

No, pretty sure we won't.

She is always said to be very, very big/fat and by the looks of it, the woman who plays Howards mother isn't that big. So she would be impossible to make an appearance. On the other hand, they can always fill her up with cushions :p

I kinda see her as a female Jerry Stiller but with bigger Redder hair!

lol

I'm trying to recall an older sitcom that did a similar thing where you always heard the mother's voice, but never met her in person.... grrr,.. time for another google-fest. Serenity Now !!!
